Troy on DVD from January 4

Troy debuts on a Two-Disc DVD from Warner Home Video January 4.

The $491* million worldwide ($133 million domestic), Box Office hit directed by Wolfgang Petersen,
features an all-star cast including Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Eric Bana, Brian Cox, Sean Bean, Brendan Gleeson and Peter O'Toole.

Starring an A-list cast including Academy Award®-nominated Brad Pitt (Ocean’s Eleven, Fight Club), Eric Bana (Hulk, Black Hawk Down), Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean), Brian Cox (The Bourne Identity, The Ring), Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Big Empty), Brendan Gleeson (Cold Mountain, Gangs of New York), Academy Award®-nominated Peter O’Toole (Reindeer Games), and directed by Academy Award®-nominated Wolfgang Petersen (The Perfect Storm, Outbreak), this two-disc DVD will make history.

SYNOPSIS

Brad Pitt picks up a sword and brings a muscular, brooding presence to the role of Greek warrior Achilles in this spectacular retelling of The Iliad. Orlando Bloom and Diane Kruger play the legendary lovers who plunge the world into war, Eric Bana portrays the prince who dares to confront Achilles, and Peter O’Toole rules Troy as King Priam.
