Doomsday – An elite group of specialists must enter a quarantined country to try and stop the world-wide spread of a deadly virus. Written and directed by Neil Marshall and starring Rhona Mitra, Bob Hoskins, Adrian Lester and Malcolm McDowell.
Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who – The classic children’s book about an elephant who hears a cry for help coming from a speck of dust hits the theater screens as an animated movie, featuring the voices of Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Carol Burnett, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Isla Fisher, Dan Fogler, Amy Poehler, Dane Cook, Jaime Pressly and Jonah Hill.
Shutter – In Tokyo, a young couple on their honeymoon begin to see ghostly images in their photos. Directed by Masayuki Ochiai and starring Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor.
Superhero – A spoof about superheroes and superhero films, directed by David Zucker and starring Drake Bell, Sara Paxton, Christopher McDonald, Leslie Nielsen, Marion Ross, Jeffrey Tambor and Brent Spiner.
April:
Nim’s Island – A young girl who lives on a magical island must find her missing father and teams up with the reclusive author of her favorite literary character. Starring Jodie Foster, Abigail Breslin, and Gerard Butler.
The Ruins – Based on the bestselling SF novel by Scott Smith and adapted by the author, about a group of young tourists exploring an archeological dig in the Mexican jungle where something unexpected lurks.
The Forbidden Kingdom – An American teenager finds an antique Chinese staff that transports him back to ancient China where he encounters the drunken kungfu master Lu Yan. Starring Jet Li, Jackie Chan and Michael Angarano.
