EA show Godfather Game
Thats right, EA invite you to swim with the fishes in a game of the classic movie trilogy.
Available on PS2, X-Box and PC in the autumn, Godfather the game sees you starting out as a nobody in post WWII New York, you have ten years in which to rise up the ladder and impress the Corleone family, including Don Vito himself.
Confirming that James Caan and Robert Duvall will lend their voices to the game as Santino 'Sonny' Corleone and Tom Hagen, EA have shown its intent to create a gaming experience worthy of the title.
Claiming both the movies and book by Mario Puzo as inspiration, Godfather the game will also feature a unique branching storyline that develops depending on how your character changes during the game.
Godfather is very similar in style to Grand Theft Auto, not a bad thing in itself, with multiple options available to solve situations and a large variety of missions from robberies to gun battles. The decisions you make in these missions will have lasting consequences later in the game.
They also announced the game would be coming to the PSP, though there was no confirmation about whether all versions of the game would make the scheduled autumn release date.
