Just thought of a couple of More books: Ellen Kushner's Swordpoint Patrick Adkin's Lord of the Crooked Paths Neil Gaimen's Stardust
The One With The Sighing. You're missing the point. S&S is a style of fantasy. Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser are not Conan; they're somewhere inbetween. Elric is not Conan, he's physically the opposite. Conan is not Elric, he's a giant hulking barbarian. Anti-Conan does not, I repeat, does not equate with Anti-S&S. They are all S&S.
The One With The Discernment Style is not the same as genre. Elric is sold right alongside Conan and Jordan in fantasy genre section. However, High Epic is not the same as S&S. But they are both a subset of fantasy. That is all. Jeeezis.
I had a wonderfully rude reply to toss right back at you, but you know what, you are not worth it. If being rude and disrespectfull to people somehow makes you feel better about yourself, then by all means, be who you are.
The One With The Washers "You are a immature child. And you are transparent." I reiterate: your issues are not my problem. Either add something of importance or get over yourself. Because so far you haven't done anything but whinge on like it's Martha Stewart Immitation Day.
Whatever makes you feel better about yourself, by all means, continue You have a lot of growing up to do. None the less, I will no longer lower my own standards and engage in useless banter. I am done posting with you. Peace
Martha Stewart? Ouch! So....anybody ready to discuss the fine contributions Mongolians have made to fantasy?
I'm not sure if you are being serious or funny, but if you are being serious, that would make my day.
Ouch...na....pointless...ineffective....better words to describe the comment I think. As for Mongolians, wasn't Tolkein originally from there ?? *LOL*
Not a slaw fan myself. Though a buttery roll sounds quite nice. On that note: Time for dinner, suckers!
WHA..?!? What's not to like? It's nice slimey and covered in gooey mayonaise. What's not to like? WHOOPPPWHOOPP!!!!!!
