Promotion and Marketing

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable marketing business that can handle formatting, publishing and promotion on Amazon KDP at a reasonable price? I have struggled with my first attempt at self publishing and advertising my novel, A Symbol of Time. I have a second novel in the wings and it needs a better start than I can give it.

You should be able to do the formatting, but if you want someone who does it well, I can give you my format/editor. Also includes cover work design for the one fee.

When it comes to publishing it, that's easy if KDP is your preferred market. Advertising is quite simple too, assuming you've got a good advert to use. Send me a message, I'm happy to tell you what I've done.

Like others said, all of that which you are looking for should be easily DIY.

If you have tons of money to blow, you can buy enough of your own work for it to be considered a bestseller, which pushes you to the top of the lists on Amazon. Some do this. I don't.

If you are on a limited budget, there are maillists that you can use. Google is your friend.

Correct.

While hiring for services to handing the self-publishing part can be managed by the author (and should be), marketing is a whole other beast. And really, I'm not sure there's a "reasonable" price for that.

I suppose, who ever you go with, make sure you get concrete metrics. Meaning, you'll pay them $XXX.XX for Ad placements that result in X amount of sales. Otherwise, you're just wasting money.
