This was a good trilogy, but Jain's story keeps it back from being great. I found Weatherby's story much more enjoyable than Jain's. The arc was better, more interesting, the world was full of imagination, and the characters were much more colorful. There were times I just wanted to skip Jain's entire chapter, but had to convince myself to read it to follow the entire story.
