I had a story that was too long to submit to a magazine, I thought, and too short for a real book. I thought it would be good as an e-book, which I still do. I put it up on Amazon (learning curve was a bit much) and after a revision and some change- I'm done.

Brad Black, 12, is the only one who seems suspicious of the newcomers after a starship lands next to the town on their low-tech colony world of Montoya. Visitors are extremely rare, because of time dilation. A traveler through Deep Drive might age a month and its been a generation back home (and everywhere else). Well, his concerns are realized and he, his horse Jones, and his friends must do their part to save their world from invasion.
There is fighting and war, but there is nothing objectionable for a younger reader.
About 85-pages.
