BBC Books are excited to be publishing the first Target novelisations of Doctor Who‘s new post-2005 series today. For the first time ever, Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat have novelised their own episodes; Rose and The Day of the Doctor, joined by Paul Cornell novelising Twice Upon a Time, Jenny T Colgan novelising The Christmas Invasion and James Goss with the first Douglas Adams Target novelisation: City of Death..
To celebrate, they’ve given us an interview with the two of the writers, both key to the redevelopment of the Doctor in 2005:
The books are available now.

I really loved the Dr. Who series. I think it’s great that they’re coming out with a book series.
I’m a little sad that I can’t watch it from the USA easily. I’ll have to wait till I can buy the series in China or until I can get it on netflix.
