In May 2012 Reliance Entertainment with Kintop Pictures announced the acquisition of the film rights for THE PALADIN PROPHECY, a young adult trilogy being published by Random House Children’s Books. Film rights for the trilogy were sold in a seven-figure deal with plans to release the first film in 2014. Reliance Entertainment is currently developing the screenplay of the first book released in September 2012, The Paladin Prophecy , in conjunction with the author, noted television/film writer and New York Times bestselling author MARK FROST.
Mark Frost is a novelist, screenwriter and producer known for his work on the TV show Hill Street Blues and as co-creator of Twin Peaks with partner David Lynch. In addition, Frost co-wrote both films in the Fantastic Four franchise and wrote and produced Disney’s film The Greatest Game Ever Played, based on his international bestseller. The Paladin Prophecy was Frost’s first foray into the young adult market and rave reviews has pointed to this series being a great crossover blockbuster for lovers of fantastical fiction.
