What games are you playing?

Just finished the DS version of Dragon Quest V. Fun if a bit basic and easy. Only a few fights required any real tactics and then the same tactic worked for all of them. Think I'm finally over my classic JRPG infatuation :D

Playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the PC.

Any good, Darth?? A lot of my friends are playing it PS3-wise, but I'm still not convinced.

At the moment I'm still hammering MW2, AVP and looking to pick up Heavy Rain this weekend.

Solaar, I've heard the PC version is (surprisingly) the best version.
The multiplayer is meant to be superior to MW2, at any rate.

AVP any good, I'm read some bad reviews about it but I loved the old games.

I'm waiting for L4D2 to pop through the...
Wait, it's packaged with the Domesday Book. It's going to be a 9am-knock-on-the-door affair. YAY :(

Kater, I like it. Even the online is playable but takes a while to find a game. Having three different story strands keeps it fresh. If anything, rent it mate, and let me know what you think.

I traded in MAG for AVP and it was the best thing I'd done in ages!

Cheers fella, I will do just that.

Have ordered Bayonetta on the cheap from Amazon for my next sustained fix. I thought I'd gotten out of computer games mostly but I seem to be flying through titles atm.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for me. It's probably the buggiest game I've ever seen released, but still fun. Sadly the developers are either underfunded or lazy, and it's plagued with dozens upon dozens of bugs left from the beta, as well as extremely old server architecture that is causing a lot of people to be unable to play. A real shame, considering it was from EA, a huge developer...

FF13 though with how easy it is so far I'm not sure I want to admit to that o_O

Finished: Mass Effect 2

Playing: BioShock 2, Divinity 2: Ego Draconis

Looking forward to: Dragon Age: Awakening (next Tues)

Waiting for reviews on Assassin's Creed 2 before I pick it up.

As far as Assassin's Creed 2, if you liked the first one. Vast improvements and just as fun as the last one. I decent story and plenty of room for a third installment with an interesting twist at the end.

How far in are you? I've found it pretty easy as well, but supposedly once you hit chapter 6 things start to get quite a bit harder, and you need to be much more strategic in how you approach battles and use your paradigm's. But despite the game being pretty easy (so far) and linear (which doesn't bother me at all, really) I've really enjoyed the game. I really like the battle system, and they have really made a beautiful environment. Dialog can be a bit cheesy, but I still think the storyline is pretty good. I think not playing any other Final Fantasy games, or RPG's for that matter, have made this game easier for me to enjoy. I don't need the game to be open world, which seems to be most people's problem with the game, that it is too linear.

I didn't like the first one. It was enjoyable the first chapter, but the more I played it the more tedious it became. The investigation portion of the gameplay was the same three mini-games repeatedly.

I liked the idea of the game, but not the implementation.

Darksbane- Well, I'm to Chapter 12. The battle system is what I find to be a little on the too easy side. You might have to think a little bit for some battles, but for the most part it is a lot of running around. Having no consequences for dying and auto-heal after each battle are my biggest complaints. I don't mind the paradigm system itself.

I am enjoying the story, don't get me wrong. Just very easy game. :)

Finished Mass Effect 2, thought it was a bit easier than the ME1. It was a really good game but felt a little too easy.

No idea what I am going to play next.

Not a ton of time for games, but I'm still goofing around with Lego Batman. Meh, simple minds, simple pleasures. :)
