100 Great Modern Fantasies (1970-present)?

A bit more than five years ago, poster Alchemist put up a list, 100 Great Classic Fantasies (through 1969). In his introduction, prior to putting the list up, he talked about later giving us "100 Great Modern Fantasies (1970-present)."

I have not managed to find it, but that could just be me! Does anybody know if that happened?

I'm not sure. I'd tag Alchemist for you, but the site isn't letting me. Also, the site only shows a limited number of recent activity and postings when looking at members' profile pages. Next, I tried a search for "Great Modern Fantasies", which you can do in the box at the top of the page with the words "enhanced by Google" (I had no idea that that was the search box when it was first implemented). My search had lots of results, but not from Alchemist.

Sounds like we need a new list! Want to put one together for us? Anyone can.

I thought Alchemist did such a great job on the "classic" that I was hoping to see the modern version. I don't think Alchemist is still wandering these virtual hallways, more's the pity.

I'll give it a few more days and then perhaps give it a shot as you suggest.

Given that 2022 was Alchemist's last year posting here, I'm not optimistic that it will bring a response, but it was worth a shot, given that direct messages were impossible to send.
