Voting on the longlists is now open - http://www.gemmellawards.com/award-voting-2016/

You can now vote for one nominee on each of the three lists of nominations for the Legend Award (best novel), the Morningstar Award (best debut) and the Ravenheart Award (best cover art).

Voting on the longlists closes at midnight (GMT) on Friday, 24th June.

The shortlists will be opened for voting on Friday 8th July.

I voted for The Dread Wyrm by Miles Cameron for best novel.

I voted for The Dread Wyrm by Miles Cameron for best novel.

Good choice...by which I mean, of course, that I really enjoyed it as well.

This is a choice, I'll have to brood on...I've read about ten on list. But almost certainly will end up voting for "Fool's Quest" by Robin Hobb. Think her last two books have seen a return to top form by a favourite author...I rate her last two as "wonderful".

You'd think they'd have an easier way to see the Ravenheart nominees

I know. I hate that they don't offer pictures right there. I really don't know which version of the cover they are referring to. It is not like the book cover has the name of the artist on it. I just can't remember all those names. Does anyone know if someone has put a picture/list together?

If you click on the Ravenheart tab along the top it takes you to the long list with hyperlinks to the books..........but they're on individual pages so you have A LOT of links to click through to see the covers.

Apologies, Mark: I misread the site. But thanks to Agnes for doing the hard work.

Prediction based on having received an email from The Black Library telling me to vote for there nominees on the shortlist....They win:eek:.

It would be interesting to see the email. I suspect they have a huge mailing list. Can you post it here?

Subject line was: Gemmell Awards: vote for us

Voting ends tomorrow on 2016's David Gemmell Awards for Fantasy, and Black Library has two titles on the shortlist. Your votes could make the difference between winning and losing, so if you want to see Black Library take the awards, be sure to vote!

Here are Black Library's nominated titles: (Images of the two books)

You can cast your votes on the Gemmell Awards website now(linked). Voting closes tomorrow at midnight, so if you want to help David and Raymond win, you'd better hurry!
