Interesting article about weird- and eco-fiction, genres which definitely overlap into science fiction, especially as contemporary science is so dominated by weird quantum at the moment. It is hard to imagine trying to create 'otherworlds' without, in some part, delving into the weird and building strange and disquieting ecologies. Looking forward to reading part 2.
