Does anyone have any fun plans this Halloween? Anyone dressing up as anything?

I have no costume this year, but I will be taking my three-year old out trick-or-treating. She will be dressed as a pink fairy princess with sparkly butterfly wings and a magic wand. (Damn, guess she's not going to be a tomboy like her mum ).

I'm a bit old for trick-or-treating, but there are alternatives available. Such as sticking a pin to the door-bell. :D :D :D

I'm not really that cruel. You didn't think I would do that to a cute little 3-year-old dressed as a fairy, did you?;)

Miriamele, do we have the same daugther:D ? I, to, have a three year old who will be wearing a butterfly princess costume for tonight's trick-or-treating.

One of my girls is being Galadriel.
The other is being Cordelia Took (the fifth hobbit, you know the one they don't talk about, Frodo's girlfriend?)
Actually, originally she was going to be Arwen but when we dressed her all up (brown Farah fawcett wig, Elf or hobbit ears,
brown dress) she looked great! but well, she was definitly a hobbit!
Unfortunately, the ears keep falling off, so I'm going to have to
find some way of attaching them.

Yeah, I'm dressed up right now. (I'll never out-grow Halloween costumes! :) ) I'm a vampire, I guess, but I look more like a typical goth person--I can't keep wearing my teeth because they make me drool. Part of the costume is a black corset worn over a black dress. I can't breathe but I have excellent posture! :D

I was gonna go to the Hallowe'en pub as the Crocodile Hunter but I have to do homwork. :(

My wife and her sister are going to a cemetary to check for ghosts. The made these pouches of stuff to ward off evil spirits. Anyhow, I'm not going I don't enjoy that kind of thing, plus it is too cold.(-6 C) I'm just going to stay home and do my homework.(and watch CSI!).

Ahh Halloween, my favorite time of the year. I do love horror films and it 'tis a glorius season to watch 'em. Here in the US they have a cable channel called AMC and they show horrors films, classics, to 'modern' from Oct 25th to the 31st!!!! 24hrs a day!!! Some of the line up is prettty lame..like they have all of the Halloween sequels but not the far superior original????!!!!! However, they did do a good job on a 'making' docuementary of Halloween. To see some archival footage of Donald P, ahhh, too bad he doth left this mortal coil!!! BTW, I also have a three year old girl, but alas, she went trick o' treating as Baby Bop from Barney!!! UGHH..my wife insited on the costume, man, sometimes she has no taste!!!! But, my daughter liked it, so, as long as the child is happy!!! Enjoy the dark!!!!

Halloween's done here but last night, went out with my SO and her sister for dinner and drinks, listen to some good latin music.

The trick part came when we went home and found the dog had done her toilet in the kitchen. Uggh!

A Halloween gripe.

I don't like kids who put absolutely no effort in and just go around looking for a free handout. C'mon, atleast some fake teeth is that two much to ask?

A bit late but...

Halloween night
on hallows eve
when the moon is out
when the sky is pitch black
and the Goblins come out

when ghosts are set free
to taunt all the children
when the witches fly high
into the sky
to get to their cauldron
when vampires seek out
for someone to bite
when trick-or-treaters
are in a big fright
but it's all just a myth
right?

Scary Halloween to all of you!
