Jan. 2018 Micro Fiction Contest: Trojan

Ahhh - a good, old fashioned shaming.

Very well, ante up. I'm having twelve this year, and damn your eyes, one and all.

Does it rhyme? If it Rhymes the Squirrels won't Read it. :p

Depends whether you read the truncated version or the extended version I wrote using invisible letters to beat the 100 word limit.

I did nearly do a limerick for want of better ideas -

There once was a young fellow named Paris
Whose actions seemed designed to embarass
Like the time he stole
Menelaus' doll
And got his poor city smashed to Polaris

LOL!

Our first micro-fiction contest of 2018 is drawing to a close. Thus far we have six entries.

Calling @WyrvenGuard , @danielausema , @Fish Owl , @Hereford Eye , @mistri , @Solveig , @Stan , @Window Bar and "the new guy" ;) @Jim Johanson

As I have no intention of either staying up until midnight or setting my alarm any earlier than the 5am it's already set for, there is still time to post a story. I will create the voting thread tomorrow after I get home from work (about 6pm EST).

I'm in with my Micro fiction: "Just Me"
I miss typed the description that states "flash fiction" but it's actually my Micro. Sorry!

Enjoy! Let me know what you think. All thoughts welcome.
You can edit the Description/Title if you go to the very top of first post there should be a drop-down link called 'Thread Tools' that has an 'edit title' selection...

Sorry, this month has been crazy (I get married in about 2 weeks) and I took on a promotion at work that I'm busy learning (get to train my replacement at the same time) so I've had just enough time to grind out Brandon Sanderson's Oathbringer (which my only problem with is it's only 1200 pages long... I could have used another 1000 pages of that story!)

That's why I had to read that book though... Sanderson book releases are the most excited I get about much these days (which is saying something because I'm easily excitable when it comes to entertainment related things lol)
