I've been so busy world-building for the RPG I run (which simultaneously is meant to end up the setting of my very first novel... in my next life...) I have forgotten all about this.. vow to self: Get on with it, start tomorrow, don't look back, oooh cake

But on a lighter note, YES! I AM COMMITING TO THIS CHALLENGE!!! Short story, here I come!

Committed myself today, got an hour of prep work done, cleaning up my initial plans. I think I'm on to something (but then, I usually think that)

I do appreciate that there were charges but how do you sentence someone for a crime like that? Every time I think about it my mind turns to dystopias.

I'm miffed that I have this partial story / full outline that I really like, and yet I see I won't make it in time. I'll give it a try, but I'm afraid there aren't enough writing hours left. Hopefully I'll be motivated to finish it anyway and maybe it will fit a later competition.
