Last Movie You watched - 2018

The Picture of Dorian Gray the TV version by Dan Curtis 'introducing Shane Briant' As good as most adaptations and far superior to the one with Colin Firth.
Mr. Briant ( along with Brad Pit and Agent Cooper) is on my wife's List of 'Most Attractive Male Actors.' I've only seen him in the Hammer stuff.

War for the Planet of the Apes - bit late to this one, I know.... but thoroughly enjoyed it. Soon forgot about the CGI. The emotion in the apes is quite stunning, isn't it?

New Avengers movie is very funny in spots, has a truly dramatic-sounding bad guy, has loads of action...and is so fucking long that I had shitloads of time to stew about how stupid parts of it are. Random example, in Black Panther, Wikanda has planes and cool guns and you can kind of rationalize how the big battle is mainly chicks with spears, tribal warriors and giant rhinos (if you want too anyway). Here, in the battle that takes place in Wikanda, the supposedly most advanced nation on Earth, and they ain't got jack besides their forcefield and tribal warriors -- essentially all tech is brought into the fight by the Avengers. Or maybe the part that really bugs you will be when Thor restarts a neutron star by pulling on a rope. But the worst? No spoilers -- you will have already heard that heroes die...some papers are calling it a tragedy...but some of the "dead" heroes have their own movies coming out. And that is just in case you were completely brain dead and couldn't tell that the sequel will involve a giant time rewind. If your a thinker, you probably want to avoid this one.

Thor Ragnarok - surprisingly good, as I don't normally go for superhero movies that much, but I think because it didn't take itself too seriously and was quite funny. Probably the reason why I liked Spider Man Homecoming too.

Also watched Red Sparrow - overall an average spy thriller, which is a shame as Jennifer Lawrence was still very good.

Undercover Blues (1993). A guilty pleasure film that is not mentally taxing. It's funny and silly and Stanley Tucci steals the film.

I saw Avengers a couple of days ago and have most of the same complaints as Art, with a few variations (like wanting to yell "just cut his arm off!" at the screen at a couple of points). OTOH, I enjoyed a lot of the humor, there were some outstanding effects, a lot of the emotional manipulation was really effective, and most of the logic failures didn't bother me too much -- I mean, logic is not really the point of a superhero movie anyway. But I gotta say, Avengers 4 had better be plenty damn good to make up for the ending of this one -- and yes, absolutely it's a problem knowing that this is a comic-book movie and they can't possibly let most of the dead stay dead!

God’s Not Dead 3 A Light in The Darkness
8/10

A great Christianity Drama movie that starts where the 2nd movie that starts after the Post Credits scene from the God’s Not Dead 2.
A straight forward story that is Pastor Dave, the University and others deal with the aftermath of the Tragedy the Church that was burned.

It has flawed believable characters including flawed Christians that makes them believable and realistic, God is always good, great messages including Christians have to love persons even when hurting, how God can bring persons together after a tragedy, solving problems without a Court if possible, taking responsibility for mistakes, trusting God to provide a Church, forgiving persons that have hurt us, The Mandela effect speaking up for a person that has mitigating circumstances for his illegal actions, the injustice Blacks have suffered in the USA, when grieving a person can say something unwise, how a rift can be created with Brothers, and Christians struggling with their faith and having doubts.

Adam is a sympathetic likable character that has a valid reason for he’s angry at the Christian Church. His father abused his mother which is why she left him, and she is called a sinner by the Christian Church because of that action, also a adulterer because she marries a different guy. Most likely she divorced her first husband even though it’s never outright said.

Meg that is also a Christian isn’t just a love interest for Dave she is strong with her faith so it’s a great contrast since Dave is struggling with doubts and his faith after losing his friend Jude, and his Church that was burned.

This explains why he vandalized the Church, and threw a brick through a window. He runs away from Pastor Dave, and Jude that moves to the Basement where he is killed by a explosion.
Dave attempts to save his friend but can’t because of irreparable damage, and is told in another language God is always good. Pastor Jude is Dave’s friend.
Adam is disturbed and sad when he sees tv that the Church he vandalized was burned, and Roland a Pastor was killed inside the church . These are unintended consequences when Adam vandalized the Church.
Adam talks to his ex girlfriend Keaton telling her that he did vandalize the Church, also that he can’t stop thinking about Jude died and the Church. He talks to her about maybe they’ll go easy on him if he confesses which she agrees but also brings up maybe they won’t. Adam does send a anonymous text message to Pastor Dave because he wants him to forgive him.
He does ask if Keaton if God can forgive him. He is shown to be contrite and remorseful.

Adam does get redeemed.

Dave does lash out at his Brother so it’s unsurprising he leaves, and does hit Adam after seeing the text that he vandalized the Church.

Adam is arrested. Keaton does tell Pastor Dave about why Adam vandalized the church and that it was a act of vandalism, and he didn’t have the intent to murder Jude, and no intent to burn the Church. Also mistakes that Christian Churches can make.
A great scene of Dave talking to Adam finding out why he sent the text message so he would forgive him, and Dave does forgive him both hugging and gives him Jude’s Bible.

Dave brings up the mitigating circumstances including it wasn’t premeditated it wasn’t his intent to murder Jude, and burn the Church which is why he pushes for leniency.
The University President is unhappy that he has to tell his friend Dave that the Church is being shut down by the University.

Pearce a non believer is a believable likable character. He is a lawyer that is involved with Social Justice. Pearce and Dave have chemistry two brothers angry that they grew apart, and they need to have challenging conversations including why Pearce left.
Pearce asked hard questions about his Faith which made him not welcomed at his Parent’s house so it’s unsurprising he left.

Great exciting climax with a crowd watching Dave says he is dropping the lawsuit vs the University, moving the Church off the Campus, and let’s stop shouting at each other and listen to each other. A literal light in the Darkness because persons have candles.

I Can Only Imagine
10/10
A terrific Christianity Drama movie about how Jesus Christ can change a broken person, fix a broken father son relationship, and Bart writing a great song that is authentic for his band Mercy Me which requires visiting wounds from his past.

A terrific movie with believable 3 dimensional characters with great acting and characters development including Dennis Quaid is Arthur the father of the protagonist Bart a aspiring Singer of the band Mercy Me.
Arthur is a broken unhappy man that couldn't accomplish his career dreams , a bastard that is intentional, physical abusive to his Wife and his son also discouraging including to Bart when he is a kid. If he had a bad day at work he would be physically abusive to his son or wife.
Not surprising his wife does leave him.
Bart does have success with his band because of gigs but can't get the big break because his music isn't authentic.
For him to write a song from his life that involves pain.
He returns back to his Dad's house which is when Arthur becomes a likable character, finds out his dad got involved in reading the Bible after exposure to Sermons on the Radio and he finds out that his dad has cancer.
Arthur a changed man because of Jesus Christ, does apologize to his son for his mistakes, goes to Church, and encourages to pursue and accomplish his career dreams.
Great scene
Arthur does make him breakfast but refuses understandable because Bart doesn't want all the things Arthur did wrong ignored or not talked about, Arthur does apologize except Bart still exits the house to avoid old wounds he can't leave on his Motorcycle and sees his dad in anger hitting his car with a baseball bat and falls down.
Bart sees this could hit him with the baseball bat that he grabs but doesn't instead moves him to the bed.
Bart is able to write the song I can only imagine and stops having hatred for his dad that he forgives and his dad dies.
He does sing the song I can Only Imagine with imagining his dad and him clapping with a bright white light and changing back with the crowd shown.
The breakout song for Bart and Mercy Me.
A logical name for the song since he does imagine his dad and can only imagine his reaction when singing the song and his reaction after since he's deceased.
I cried multiple times during this movie because it has sad scenes including when Arthur wants to make things right with his son he does apologize to Bart except Bart to avoid the wounds still leaves the house.
Also Arthur gave him the life insurance so Bart could pursue his professional dream and would have money.

It does have funny moments, and the romance subplot involving Shannon and Bart isn't forced.
Bart at a Bible camp meets Shannon, and her journal that opens after being dropped shows a page that she loves Bart. The romance starts early since both are kids.
Bart has a plausible reason why he breaks up with Shannon after High School graduation, and both get back together before the movie ends.

Truth or Dare
4/10

A supernatural Horror movie that has obvious flaws including PG13 it should be Rated R, not scary, and is a unintentional comedy which is dejavu of the remake Horror Movie The Wicker Man.
Also damn this movie is similar to Final Destination for it’s plot.
This is a movie that could have been great I’ll describe it in the spoilers.

This is a PG13 movie which is why blood at all in this embarrassment.

The characters that are likable either are killed. Olivia and Markie because they upload a youtube video saying Truth or Dare it’s cursed along with the rules, challenges the viewer to Truth or Dare that initiates them.
Other persons watching infects the world so no doubt Universal wants a sequel and the door is open for a sequel since others in the Wolrd have become infected.
With more persons infected Olivia and Markie can prolong their turn so it’s understandable but still changes characters that were likable altered to unlikable characters.

Lucas is a likable character that still loves Markie which is surprising because that is after finding out she cheated on him multiple times. He dies because he’s dared to kill Olivia or Markie, he makes the admirable choice leaves the Church except he’s stopped by Calax possessed his body, kills Sam to prevent the ritual to end the game can be finished also slits his throat because Calax is controlling his body, and Lucas dies.
Calax never shown for his demon body, the character that controls the game and should be the main Antagonist is hugely absent from the movie since he appears in the Climax which is damn late.
Since this is a PG13 Horror Movie blood is highly absent from the movie. Extremely nonsensical Blumhouse made a high amunt of money with the Rated Suspense Horror Movie Get Out a 2017 movie so no damn logical sensible reason to use PG13.

Lameass jumpscares are used, and the whole possessed face with the person or persons smiling Green Goblin style from the movie Spider Man asking Truth or Dare isn’t scary it’s hilarious, and funny what a huge backfire.
Also the Writer couldn’t think of a rule for why Dare would have to be chosen which is why the line by a character a new version of Truth or Dare with after 2 persons both choose truth the person would have no choice but to choose dare aka 2 Truths and a Dare. The rules of Truth or Dare shown to be True if a player refuses to play he or she dies, if he or she doesn’t do the dare the player dies, and if the player lies instead of telling the truth the player dies.

Huge wasted potential because this could have been similar to Wishmaster with Calax shown with his demon body asking persons truth or dare creating death, destruction, sorrow, hostility, and anything else awful using Truth or Dare.
It should have been a Rated R horror movie.

A Quiet Place
9/10

Start to the end a entertaining great movie.

A movie that has a simple literal title that is on the mark, and a perfect tagline If They Hear You They Hunt You since it is shown to be true.
The monsters are attracted to noise which is similar to Tremors.
A great Horror Post Apocalypse or Horror Post Apocalyptic movie about a family that has to avoid making noises to avoid the monsters, and having to fight for survival.

The main characters are believable flawed likable characters, great quality monsters and great design the monsters look like something from the great video game series Doom or Lovecraft Horror, decent violent climax, decent action, genuine scares, great drama, a terrific ending, and a great intentional unanswered question.
This is It Comes At Night kind of movie that has monsters.

It's a combination of I am Legend, Signs, and Tremors.

This movie is similar to the movie It Comes At night except it has monsters and trailer was not misleading which are huge differences because It comes at Night had a misleading trailer because it doesn't have a monster or monsters.
Night is the most dangerous time similar to I am Legend and is a apocalypse movie because most of Earth's human population killed by the sightless monsters.
The family has to go to stores to get food and supplies.
The monsters attracted to noises similar to the worms in Tremors, and set on a farm with 1 family which the movie Signs has.
It's a mix of Signs, I am Legend and Tremors except Lovecraft because its not known what created the monsters.
The monsters are shown briefly in the movie including snatching a kid at the start intentional with building anticipation or surprise when monsters are revealed for a long period of time.
I saw it yesterday afternoon a Great Unique Horror movie that has a simple literal title, and the tagline is shown true If They hear you they hunt you.
All of the main characters are likable Lee the Father, Evelyn the mother, Regan the deaf daughter and Marcus the son.
Marcus talks to his dad and asks about whose fault it was that Beau was snatched and killed with Lee saying it wasn't anyones fault, also when asks does he still love Regan which Lee tells Marcus he does.
Marcus says to Lee he should tell her he loves her which Lee does.
Regan did give Beau a toy rocket putting batteries in the toy which made loud noise, and the result Beau was snatched by a monster.

The monsters are attracted to noise since they can't see, have teeth that resembles what Venom a Marvel character has, and look like something from Doom or Lovecraft Horror.
The family lives on a farm has to go to stores to get food, and other supplies.
Origin for the monsters is never said or shown that makes the monsters extremely mysterious, and something viewers can endlessly debate what created the monsters.
Great climax with the father yelling so a monster can't kill the kids that are inside a pickup. Since Lee did promise Evelyn he would protect the kids he proved that promise true.
I did cry for this scene because Lee was able to protect his kids by sacrificing his life, and before he was killed telling Regan he loves her.
With what is shown in the movie it's possible Regan fears Lee doesn't love her because of her mistake.
He did tell Regan he loves her which was needed since he knows Regan gave Beau the toy rocket which Lee took away from Beau warning him noises made by the toy rocket would attract the monsters which had the result of Beau moves the toy rocket and he was snatched by a monster.
He didn't want her to have any doubts that he stopped loving her after she made a obvious mistake that had a awful result.
A monster walks to the basement, and hits tvs that make noise.
For some reason Regan is able to overwhelm the monster with loud noise with the monster falls down. Evelyn shoots the monster's head that kills the monster after the monster stood up and was moving toward Regan and Evelyn.
This attracts the other 2 monsters that Regan and Evelyn see on the tv running fast toward the house which is the ending.
A great intentional cliffhanger ending which I didn't anticipate.
It has a exciting great climax that involves a monster which is why i don't dislike or hate the cliffhanger ending with the unknown of do the monsters win and kill the family or does the family win killing the other 2 monsters, and does anyone of the family die that is in the basement.
In the basement is Marcus holding the baby, Evelyn and Regan.

This has flaws.

Why is a nail that is upward on the stairs?
Why does the family never use the Basement a safe haven in other scenes including when the kids play Monopoly? It's shown they can talk in this basement so wouldn't have to worry about making sounds.
Why do they not move away from the area if a sound is made if they can?

The family is using electricity but it's never shown what is providing the electricity. If it's a electric generator which makes a lot of noise why does that not attract the monsters? If it isn't then we don't see what is the device that provides electricity for the family.

2 Plot Holes
The kids were sinking in grain, but aren't sinking in the grain with a door on top of them while a sightless monster is attacking them.
It's clearly seen they aren't holding on the door so this inconsistency with no plausible reason is a plot hole.
Evelyn slams her hand on the Shower glass door which doesn't attract the Sightless Monsters which is a plot hole. It's not in the area where noise is being made a River, Behind a Waterfall which is why this is a obvious plot hole.

It isn't shown the sightless monsters killing most humans so the viewers need to fill in the blanks.

Did a vast number of sightless monsters kill most humans? It's implausible that 3 monsters killed most Earth humans because a high amount of humans including the Military have guns which could kill the monsters by shooting their heads.
'It's logical that a high amount of sightless monsters killed most humans because that is plausible.

Also were most or all humans that discovered the weakness killed by the sightless monsters?
This would explain why the family didn't know the weakness of the monsters before the climax.

Stonehurst Asylum
An entertaining, loose adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's The Method of Dr. Tar and Professor Feathers (sp.?)
We had seen a spaghetti version some years ago. As I was explaining to my long-suffering wife how I woulda done the film, it proceeded to do it that way without any viewer input required.

Deadpool 2. Pretty much the same feel and humor as the original, don't believe anyone that says its much better or much worse. I personally liked the original a little better - the origin story worked a bit better for me than the attempt at emotion & protect the boy story. As some reviews have pointed out, Cable is much more boring than Thanos even though its the same actor. But same humor, same general approach. That said, there are a few spots where I think Ryan Reynolds got too attached to a joke and no one dared talk him out of it. For example, I read online that he came up with the Yentil bit. Apparently he noticed that one of the Yentil songs sounds a lot like "Do you want to build a snowman" from Frozen. And he thought that was funny for some reason and made it into a thing. As usual, I was slightly bothered by random inconsistencies, the worst being that Deadpool is quite ernestly trying to prevent someone from going to the darkside by killing, while going on a spree himself without worrying at all about whether the killed deserve it. But overall, about the same as the first one. I enjoyed it.

Black Panther. Too long and too boring in places. Ant-Man is still my favourite Marvel film, with Homecoming and Doctor Strange vying for 2 and 3.

The Avengers Infinity War
10/10

A epic terrific entertaining movie from start to the end with a simple story the Juggernaut Main Super Villain Thanos wants to obtain all Infinity Stones that he’ll use for a specific goal with Doctor Strange, Thor and other super heroes that have to stop him also his group the Black Order that are helping Thanos obtain the remaining Infinity Stones.
Great use of Doctor Strange, Captain America, Spider Man, Scarlet Witch, Thor, and other super heroes that all get chances to shine none are unused.

Simple Villains including Thanos that is a believable 3 dimensional character, Simple Heroes that are all believable 3 dimensional characters, great entertaining interactions with super heroes meeting other super heroes, amazing or fantastic action, decent dialogue, terrific memorable lines, great drama, terrific soundtrack including songs that perfectly fit the scenes, a decent funny gag, funny moments and lines, Impressive Diverse locations, exciting terrific climax that has a high amount of action, and cliffhangers that leave you wanting to see Avengers Infinity War Part 2.
Similar to the Horror Reboot Movie IT, and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows this movie is logically 2 parts because if it's 1 movie most likely over 3 Hours Long, also you won't have cliffhangers to see get resolved in Part 2 if it was 1 movie.
No doubt money is the primary reason since Disney can make more money with a 2 Parts Movie but no doubt those are also valid logical reasons.

Thanos succeeds for his goals obtaining all infinity stones, and kills half the universe using the Infinity Gauntlet. It’s not common that a Villain wins in a movie, this is a standout feat for a Villain winning with what Thanos accomplished in the Avengers Infinity War Part 1 for his main goal , also 1 of the saddest endings for a movie with the Villain winning.

Thanos has seen in the past a Planet overpopulated so it’s unsurprising that fearing that History will repeat itself for the Universe he decides to use the Infinity Gauntlet to kill half the population in the Universe so the Universe won’t overcrowd. He knows this is a destructive dreadful action but is convinced he is a Hero or Good Guy because of his twisted logic, and believes that the ends justify the means when it’s beneficial for a Planet or the Universe.
Even though he believes he’s a Hero or a Good Guy he is using destructive dreadful methods to accomplish his goal to prevent the Universe from overpopulating which is why he is a Simple Villain meaning no ambiguity that’s what the character is.
A Simple Villain can be a believable 3 dimensional character including having believable reasons why they believe they are a hero and in the right which is what Thanos is in this movie.

In the 1st scene of this movie Hulk was winning for a short period when fighting Thanos except Thanos adjusted stopped getting hit then easily smashed the Hulk, picked him up and easily throws him on the ground.

Ebony Maw and the other 3 members of the Black Order are all shown in several different scenes as formidable adversaries in other words all get a chance to shine and are done justice.
Foreshadowing for Ms.Marvel because for the after credits scene shown on the screen of communicator that Nick Fury used is the Ms.Marvel symbol.

To many terrific memorable lines to list all of them.
Doctor Strange insulting Iron Man about his head since he sees he has a huge ego with how does he fit his head in that helmet, Doctor Strange saying about seeing a specific scenarios he saw them winning one which highly possibly happens in Infinity War Part 2 , Spider Man fears he has a alien in his body and is describing the chest burster from the Alien movie series, Thanos saying in response to Loki’s offer with a smartass remark “If you consider failure experience.”, Thanos to Loki before killing him “No resurrection this time.” obvious reference to Loki resurrected from the past MCU movies, Tony Stark “And I swore off dairy, but then Ben and Jerry’s named a flavor after me” in response to Wong’s line about we meaning the Good Sorcerers swore an oath to protect the time stone with our lives, Doctor Strange in response to Tony Stark what is your job exactly making balloon animals “Protecting your reality douchebag.”

The movie has believable drama involving the super heroes it isn’t forced or contrived, disagreement that Vision should be killed to destroy the mind stone so Thanos can’t obtain it, Iron Man not wanting Spider Man involved in this fight since he could highly possibly get killed, both of them arguing why he is on that Space Ship, etc.

The decent funny gag is Thor repeatedly calls Rocket Raccoon a rabbit that doesn’t get correct saying that is a Raccoon not a rabbit.

Drax believes he is invisible obviously he isn’t which was funny because Praying Mantis saying he can see him, Thor repeatedly calls Rocket Raccoon a Rabbit and Rocket Raccoon doesn’t correct him neither do the other GOTG, Spider Man talking about chest bursters of the Alien movie series fearing he might have a alien in his body, etc these movie as usual has funny scenes and lines.
Impeccable timing with Captain America walking out of the Shadows also Falcon and Black Widow that fight 2 members of the Black Order that after seeing the futility retreat failing to remove the mind stone from Vision.

Also logical that Star Lord, Drax, and Praying Mantis fighting Spider Man, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man because they decided to start fighting rather than ask questions, and they don’t know who exactly these persons are, when important information gets exchanged the fight ceases.

Unique Stan Lee cameo as a bus driver the 1 Peter Parker is on, I don’t recall Stan Lee as a driver in the other Marvel Movies so something unique and new.

Great intentional irony Spider Man saying it doesn’t make sense for the whole he can’t be a friend neighborhood Spider Man without a neighborhood because it is sensible with no neighborhood Spider Man can’t be a friendly neighborhood Spider Man.

This movie finds a logical way to use all it’s locations including Scotland because the Infinity Stones are in those locations.

Also Scarlet Witch, Captain America, Thor, Spider Man, Doctor Strange and all other super heroes get a chance to shine in the action scenes since the super heroes are in different areas, in the fight scene in New York City Iron Man, Spider Man, and Doctor fighting members of the Black Order. When the Hulk fought Thanos that was the only fight shown, Doctor Strange fights Thanos, Scarlet Witch shown fighting monsters in the fight in Wakanda and killing a member of the Black Order, etc.

Even in the Climax in Wakanda the super heroes are in different areas.

1 of the best action scenes is Thor using his Stormbreaker a big axe with instant teleportation, the stormbreaker that is spinning hitting monsters , and hits the ground creating a great shockwave that hits more than a dozen monsters, and does stab Thanos with the Stormbreaker axe forcing Thanos to teleport which while not a kill is still a defeat since he retreated.

Impeccable timing with Thor, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon arriving in Wakanda since the Avengers and others were getting overwhelmed by the monsters.

Rocket Raccoon and Groot are shown fighting and defeating the monsters.
Another great action scene is Doctor Strange fighting Thanos because Doctor Strange is able to multiply himself, all Doctor Stranges throw a magical lasso which around Thanos, and while he didn’t succeed to defeat Thanos because he escapes it still was creative and valiant.

Great use of the Reality Stone since Thanos does alter Star Lord’s guns ammo to bubbles, he fools Gamora that she killed Thanos which is shown to be a illusion and moving in a side direction the illusion area is removed and the real damaged area is shown, when Thanos is talking to Doctor Strange to explain his motivations including why he wants to use the Infinity Gauntlet moving again in a side direction the environment or area is changed.

Even though Thanos is a Simple Villain a Nefarious Villain he is still believable 3 Dimensional character not a Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain.
He saw that Gamora’s planet was overpopulated with persons having to fight for scraps. His solution to fix that problem is murder all persons which he calls Mercy, the only person not killed was Gamora because Thanos has the intent to make her a disciple.
Red Skull told him the Great Price of how a person can obtain the Soul Stone a sacrifice with a person killing the person he or she loves the most a soul for a soul, Thanos does cry before killing Gamora by pushing her off the edge.
Also Thanos’s plan with the Infinity Gauntlet convinced it’s just and right with persons being killed rich, poor, old, young with it being random so Earth and other planets won’t be overpopulated.
Similar to Ego he is a understandable character that has good goals except his methods the same as Ego are messy, awful and destructive.

Captain America proves again he’s a Pure of Heart Hero since he outright says we don’t trade lives objecting to kill Vision to destroy the mind stone.
Great to finally see the Red Skull 7 years later because he’s wearing a Black Hooded Robe that made me mostly think of Sith Lord specially Darth Maul since he also has that scary red face. He gives Thanos the information about the soul stone including the great undesirable price to obtain the soul stone.
The MCU is set in the same year the movies get released if any doubt before now none because Iron Man talks about events of the The Avengers with saying 6 years which would be 2012 since this is a 2018 movie.
Scarlet Witch is shown to be Noble and Valiant. She didn’t want to kill Vision which she does outright say, and seeing Thanos is in the area she does kill Vision when necessary to save half of the Universe’s population and preventing Thanos from obtaining the final mind stone. Scarlet Witch did what was necessary which was one of the toughest actions because what it involved for her to save half of the Universe’s population.

Even though Thanos is still able to rewind time to obtain the Mind Stone it doesn’t remove or erase Scarlet Witch’s valiant noble action.

Thanos is shown to be a Ruthless Nefarious Villain in this movie. He was responsible for killing most Asgardians , he didn’t have to kill Loki but does with saying no resurrection this time, he didn’t kill Gamora because he would train her to be a disciple with all other persons on Gamora’s planet killed calling it Mercy because overpopulated and persons having to fight for scraps, he could have decided to give up to obtain the Soul Stone because it’s a great undesirable price but didn’t choosing to kill his daughter pushing her off a edge to obtain the Soul Stone, he had no damn problem torturing Nebula to convince Gamora to tell him important information with Gamora having to watch the physical torture of her sister, Scarlet Witch did kill Vision to prevent Thanos from obtaining the Mind Stone and Thanos without hesitation rewinds time easily knocks Scarlet Witch down and enjoys giving Vision a inhumane death by removing the mind stone to achieve his goal to obtain all infinity stones.
Thanos uses the Infinity Gauntlet with Spider Man, Doctor Strange, and others dying altered to dust, and half of the population in the Universe die because of Thanos using the Infinity Gauntlet.

A cliffhanger ending that leaves you wanting to see part 2 with Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet, and is recovering on a Planet.

Doctor Strange did say he saw 1 scenario where they won so highly possible that gets shown in Avengers Infinity War Part 2.
Also Thanos doesn't have to physically fight foes but still does since he fights the Hulk, Iron Man, etc which is great because it be extremely boring to watch him defeat all foes by using the Infinity Gauntlet.

Transcendence starring Johnny Depp as the first human to be uploaded into a super computer, bootstrapping it first into artificial intelligence, then demi-godhood. It was visually appealing, but didn’t hold up very well if one considers it. There was a lot that was just silly in fact. Like a “virus” that was injected into a person that was intended to infect a computer. It did have a lot of star power though, with performances by Morgan Freeman and Paul Bettany.

Deadpool 2. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but it was a lot of fun.

We liked Transcendence.

ot Just finished watching POLDAK season III
No. No.
What an inept adaptation!
The scenery is pretty, at least. As a matter of fact, the views of the sun and surf inspired us to try and place just where Nampara is located. Seems from the novels to be in the north of Cornwall, but surely the sun does not rise and set in the same place each day. :) I mean, it ain't at one of the Poles of the Earth.

Blade Runner 2049 showed up on HBO GO, so I finally got to see it. I am in awe! I never thought that a sequel could be made of the original that could do it any justice, but this film was all that and more. It was visually beautiful, had so many excellent performances, and was just as atmospheric if not more than the original. It really had so many things that made it worthwhile, and I did not expect that at all. An excellent film, I highly recommend it.
