Haywire (2011)

OK, mainly a vehicle for Gina Carano to employ her considerable real fighting skills, but with a surprisingly good cast (edit: and Director). Definitely in the 'not terrible' class.

I liked the first one.... and the Jeff Goldblum one...

Both classics. I started this one a bit late, so didn't (yet) get to the end, but (surprisingly) - it's not actually terrible. More of that wacky Delambre family and their shenanigans with building teleporter machines, of course. As an inveterate electronics nerd, I appreciated the laboratory props that look like real electronics that might actually do something physics-y :)

Not sure if this happens elsewhere, but as it is Groundhog Day one of the Cable channels here in the UK is showing the film repeatedly for 24 hours... hilarious idea!

GHOSTS OF WAR

GI's hole up in a French Chateau previously occupied by Nazis.
Starts of " b movie haunted house " , takes a left turn with 25 minutes to go, which knocked me sideways.
I think this will develop an appreciation which might allow it the " cult film label " !

Highly recommended.

Not easy to watch, but very well done. Documents the Defense of Sihang Warehouse during which the bizarre situation existed of full on war on on side of a creek in full view of the other side which was at the time not-to-be-touched foreign concession territory.
