Legends of Tomorrow

Anybody watching Legends of Tomorrow? I downloaded the first ep and it was kind of goofy. Does it get better? I like the concept and the characters, just hoping the execution improves...

I've been watching it, but it is not as good as I'd hoped. To me the best parts are between Capt. Cold and Heat Wave. Sometimes White Canary is pretty interesting. That's about it.

It is a wonky show, to be sure. It banks HEAVILY on preexisiting love for the characters from Flash and Arrow. It has some fundamental structural flaws in that every 2 part ep is basically a failure to kill Savage, over and over, so it is pretty pessimistic as they never seem to accomplish anything. Hopefully they can come up with a better macguffin or mission down the road so they can start succeeding at something. It seems to me that the salvation of the show should be to have the most obscure DC heroes/villians possible spotlighted each episode. Or wonky alternative future stuff like a "Red Son" superman raised in Russia.

Definitely feels like the most low budgeted Berlanti DC show and it hasn't found the emotional hook the others have.
