There was a bra removal scene in a movie called the Last American Virgin. Only I remember the guy is making out with a girl on a livingroom sofa and cannot unhook her bra. Somehow he gets a hold of a pair of scissors and is about to cut it off when he gets interupted.

I have no idea which film was it, sorry. But you did remind me that I was trying to recall a bra removal scene (or at least a bed scene in which the girl is on top, with the camera filming her nude back) in a movie with a plot similar to My Tutor (perhaps it was the movie itself), in which a teenager loses his virginity with a young woman who is his keeper or tutor. I'm going to look for that. Thanks!

80's fantasy movie:
Now for a fantasy movie that I'm REALLY REALLY trying to identify. About a group of kids trying to reach an evil being's castle/fortress and save the fantasy land or something. Two scenes: Scene #1 the kids in a big desert, frustrated as they cannot seem to find the fortress, or rather their path is blocked by an invisible force field. Start arguing and one of them throws a stone or special object at another kid, which avoids it; the stone/thing shatters the invisible barrier, which was a kind of mirror, revealing the huge, black walls of the fortress behind it. Scene #2 The kids have been imprisioned in a strange way, placed in several suspended cages hanging from an unseen ceiling (or perhaps one of the kids is caged separately from the others). The room is dark and the only things that can be seem are the barely lit cages; one can't be sure if there is a floor or a pit below. I'm not sure what the kids do to escape (if they have to reach somewhere swinging the cages or what), but at a given moment a kid sets his pet white mouse free to climb to the rope and start gnawing it.

Old sci-fi anime movie:
Rented on VHS, probably some Starblazers spin-off. Featured two alien races (basically human with green or some other color skin), characters running in a bullet train to reach a spaceship and flee from the enemy. In the humor scenes a hurt or worried character would have big white lollipop-shaped tears hanging from their eyes.

Any clues???

Hey, that film you are talking about with the castle, the cages hanging, etc etc....that's "Time Bandits" from 1981, (directed by Terry Gilliam)...that's a classic early 80's film right there

Not sure about the Anime film...

i vaguely remember this movie i was a little girl so I think I have memories from clash of the titans mixed with this fantasy or mythology....there were 7 lightning bolts this guy had to find....he ate seaweed to swim underwater...these two gods i think would look over him a male and a female....he fought a sea creature.... a coffin with a frozen guy and they somehow defrosted him....i know this description sux but if someone can help greatly appreciated its driving me nuts...

I´m trying to remember a movie I saw in 1998/1999 sometime. It´s about an asteroid on collision course with the earth (no, not Armageddon ;) ) and a team is sent up to drill a hole and blast the crap out of the asteroid. In the middle, they encounter heavy resistance and it turns out they´ve drilled into a box where an ancient creature is being held prisoner. Then, insert Alien clone.

I really liked that movie then but I want to see it again to see if it was any good at all. Anyone?

Nobody seems to know.

For some reason Weird Science popped into my head on this one, but I can't clearly remember if there was a bra scene in that film. Might be worth checking out, though.

Ok here is one that might stump everyone. in the mid 90's(i think) I watched what seemed like a post apocalyptic movie.

The details I remember are vague. I just remember a handful of people walking around amid a lot of destroyed earth and concrete. They go underground on a non-working escalator into an underground store or mall or something and find this guy that stuffs himself into a suitcase.

another detail is that 2 of the people want to get married and they find this box spring on top of a building. Very weird eh.

Also throughout the entire movie you see a backhoe or some similar type of construction equipment in the background every once in awhile...almost like a weird easter egg.

Any ideas? :)

I can't remember this movies name but here's what I remember about the plot!

It's a comedy about a small time copy shop that is doing crazy s**t to sty open and stick it to the big copy king shop that opened up across the street! In the ed he ens up winning free copies for life from them while he is wearing a disguise so he turns his copy shop into a bar or coffee house and offers copies cheap to locals by putting on his disguise and making them! came out in the 90's sometime I believe.

Animated Mermaid movie

Hey, everyone. I need help finding the title of a movie I watched when I was a kid. I watched it in the late 80s or so, but I don't know if that's when the movie was made.

This is what I remember about the plot:

It's very similar to the plot of the Little Mermaid by Disney. The mermaid falls in love with a human, but instead of getting a happy ending, she ends up dying at the end. And I can remember her fish (I think it was a fish) companion swimming through the ocean, jumping out of the water and crying her name, which I'm pretty sure was Serena. I'm not sure of the spelling though. Also, I want to say that she was blond.

I appreciate any help, as this was one of my favorite movies when I was younger.
 
movie i used to own on vhs

There a title for a movie i just can't recall, and its one of those flicks that wasn't a huge success that I know of. I think it started with a "T". It starts off with a young girl who always came in second place at singing contests and longed for that first prize. She lived with just her mom in a farming town. A very rich man ends up buying up a rather large and beautiful mansion in this town. the man himself had a disfigured face and was said to be a prince, but he had a very bad temper. It was also said that he was banished from his homeland, or too ashamed of his appearance to return. Anyway, somehow he comes across this girl and hires her to be his maid, to work off some debt or something. Through her evening of working for him, he ends up teaching her a song. Meanwhile the town becomes angry as their land begins to get bought up. Thinking this his doing they plot against him. Later on the girl goes to the singing competition to win first prize, while back in town the folks raid his home and chase him into the dam which kills him. Only after this occurs do they find out that he was not the one buying up their homes, but was in fact spending monstrous amounts of money giving them what they needed.. Medical attention and such.

Anyone out there know anything about this movie? or the folktale it stems from?
 
90's Pirate Movie

Hi, I'm looking for a movie from the 90's that had to do with pirates and treasure. The main thing I can remember about the movie is that the parrot in the movie was old enough to be the pirate's parrot so he helped lead a kid to find the treasure which was I believe buried under a tree in a resort. The resort had been built around this tree.

Need help remebering movie title!

There Is a movie I watched when I was younger and can't seem to remember the title to. It involves a blue horse that is made out of a type of fabric, and is surrounded in a world of sheets and pillows. Thats all I can remember but If you have any ideas feel free to help me out!
 
Help me!

I've been racking my brain for over a week now on what this tv show was, and I can't remember.

The scene that stands out the most was of a male character who melts a necklace or bracelet with special powers, and turns them into metallic liquid orbs, which he then floats in a circle above his hand.

Anyone have an idea?
 
1980's or 90's television series pilot

I've been trying to remember the name of a pilot for a television series that was not picked up, probably in the 80's or possibly the 90's.

The program was about a post apocalyptic world in what appears to be a desert landscape and the story revolves around people in a futuristic city. So far, sounds like a ton of movies, etc.

Here are the specifics I recall:
  • When they leave the city by ground vehicle there is a paved road outside the city and a section drops down and it is used as a ramp they can drive up.
  • Everyone in the city was issued a piece of jewelry with a colored crystal. To avoid mutations or something similar people could only have children with people with either the same color crystal or a different color or something like that.
  • They had a medical center with an ER like area and when they needed to move supplies, equipment or patients between different medical centers quickly they "phoned" the person/etc. "over" meaning a teleporting window appeared and they slid whatever through it. Sort of a short range Stargate-like thing without the F/X effects. I think the main doctor character was a woman.
  • The outside world was infested with mutants (or violent people) and there were non-mutant survivors spread around the area who were all trying to make it to this city. I think the main character was in a police or military unit whose job it was to keep the mutants at bay and to rescue non-mutants and bring them to the city.
  • One of the subplots is a young attractive woman arrives at the city and her attractive sister is happy she made it. The first woman is attracted to the military guy who brought her in but she finds out they have incompatible crystal colors which I think pleased the sister because she had a compatible color. I think the first woman jokes with someone about trading crystals.

Several people I know recall it, but no one remembers the name, etc. I don't think it was any of the Roddenberry Genesis, Genesis II or Planet Earth pilots (I think they were too old and I don't recall any subshuttles in this program).

The fact it was a pilot for a series that wasn't picked up probably means it's pretty obscure but people here seem to know a lot of obscure titles.

Help to find name of kids using telepathy to make gumballs on spaceship

Hi, I need help to find out what tv show or tv movie this was. It must have been late 70's to early 80's, it was two kids, i think a boy and a girl and they found a spaceship underground i think at a beach, they went inside the ship and by using telepathy with the help of the ship i assume created a bunch of gumballs that flooded the floor with gumballs. That is all i remember, any help finding out what the name of this program was would be greatly appreciated, its been on my mind for some time now and keeps coming back into my mind. Help please. Thanks.

80´s Scifi show. Three robot spaceships combining into One big one.

Hi, I need a bit of help figuring out what an 80´s "puppet" show was called.
I remember it to be a puppet show (maybe an animation though). I thought it was starfleet but it turns out its not (at least from the episodes ive seen of starfleet now there is no spaceships joining)

What I remember from it is that there where 3 spaceships combining into one big (flying?) spaceship robot used to fight off the enemy.

Can anyone help based on these loose memories ?
 
Trying to remember the name of a movie

I saw this movie years ago, and I believe it might have been on the Sci-Fi channel. I only remember a few things about it. Time was used as currency, rather than money. All monetary transcations were performed with time, because they had solved death. At birth each person was given a timer with 1000 years of time on it, and when it ran out you died. I remember one scene where a "rich" guy was in a casino and a woman next to him got a warning that she only had 10 minutes left, so he lent her some time. I also remember a scene with a young girl smoking and her friends asking her how much time she had left. When she said a couple of years her friends asked her if she had told her parents yet.

I can't remember the name of the movie, nor when or where I saw it, but I do remember that it was on tv, and not in a theater.
