I saw the Exorcist when it first came out. It had an exclusive showing at a theater on the other side of town. Me and 3 friends drove there in one of their old 1963 Fairlaine (I didn't have a driver's license yet). The line was all the way around the block. When we finally got to the window the only tickets available were 2 shows later. We bought tickets and waited in the car til our showtime. I can honestly say that was the longest I ever waited for a movie in my life.
