Reaper's Gale Cover

Ok, so I've just started reading Reaper's Gale and my curiosity is killing me. It may be an obvious answer, but I need to know who's on the cover.

This is the cover in question:

If I recall correctly, that albino is Silchas Ruin, third son of Mother Dark (and Anomander Rake's younger brother), on his quest toward a great showdown.

Yeah, it took about 3 pages more to get to the exact scene in the book.

He looks like Elric of Melnibone, or at least a close relation. Except the two swords. That is a cool cover. Welcome to sffworld, Juicy Coma.

I like the UK cover, myself, though that picture of 'Elric-Two-Swords' is quite cool.

I agree, the UK cover is really good, I like both. Although the more I look at the UK cover, I start to like it more.

My favorite would have to be this cover for Memories of Ice.

Mainly because Gruntle and Stonny looks so bad ass

I guess Todd Lockwood did quite a few of the US Covers for the books. I checked out his website http://www.toddlockwood.com/ and I like a lot of his work, it looks like he's done a ton of the Drizzt books.

I love all the Todd Lockwood covers except The Bonehunters, even though they get a lot of hate on the message boards. I really wish they let him illustrate the last two because I hate it when series change art styles.

I've loved all the U.S. covers but the one for Gardens of the Moon. That one looks like the cover of a freakin' Harlequin romance novel!

Yeah not a fan of the Gardens cover either. Otherwise pretty cool (maybe except for Bonehunters as well).

I was surprised in Reaper's Gale how quickly it gets to the cover scene in the book and then in Toll how very un-quickly. It's easily over 1000 pages in.
