RotK Trailer

IMO the coolest part was when you saw the army of mordor coming towards Minas Tirith. I bet right about then most of the soldiers of Gondor wish they were born in Harad.

Suggestion noted...and no I will NEVER see that movie or Eight Legged Freaks or anything like that...

Haha, I saw eight-legged freaks, it was funny, but it wasnt a very good movie overall

The movie is looking amazing, and I think it could be the best one of the three. I was a bit dissapointed with The Two Towers though, although I'm not sure why. This looks like it won't dissapoint.

This film is definatly going to rock. I thought TTT was worse than FOTR, but my friends all think it was better, but I am sure that this will be the best of the three.

I know there is a lot of hype and I am getting so excited, but I am convinced it will be as good as I dare hope. Not like the Matrix Revolutions, the trailer for that is a bit dodgy. I'll go and see it but it won't touch the first.

Anyhoo back to LOTR..... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! I am reading all the books, and it is just going to put me in the mood....:D

I thought TTT was better than FOTR, but after watching it for almost 50 times, I'm begining to think that FOTR had more story to it. But this movie will be the undisputed champion of the 3.

I go back and forth, but I'm partial to FOTR. Maybe it's because it was the first, but TTT seemed to be a bit more...predictable is not the word I want but maybe...canned, as in Hollywood phrases and shots. I liked FOTR because, IMHO, it was more innovative and different. So many locations (Shire, hobbit hole, Bree, mountains, Moria, Lothlorien, forest, etc.) and types of characters and not all effects were computer generated. I like the ways that the hobbits were "made smaller" especially at Bag End.
TTT seemed to fall victim to effects and scenes that you see all the time. So many computer effects (not taking away from their quality though--topnotch) and such.

I don't know. They're both very good.
Can't wait for ROTK!

I agree, FOTR was on a much larger scale and was more interesting to watch. TTT however was just in Rohan and wherever Frodo is

FOTR was better....

While TTT was incredibly epic I thought that on the emotional level (which can is often more interesting than the epic level) FOTR was better. The characters were much more inexperienced and fragile. Besides it had that cool scene with Aragorn standing his ground in front of the Urukai, I LOVE THAT SCENE!

Also there was no set path in FOTR, but a journey that was merely an aim to get to Mordor. In the Two Towers the fellowship seemed to have found there way into situations that needed to be solved in order to carry on. And i think that in the ROTK there will be some fantastic images of Mordor, at least from the glimpses in the trailer, and at the end of TTT.

i think that fotr was still way better than ttt .
in fotr there was excitement all the way through and even though ttt was cool and i loved the war it was not as good as the first film. but i dont have a doubt in my mind that rotk will be the best of the three.
lotr will always be my best trilogy:D

I've only seen the trailer once yet and I think it's great!!

But I don't really like watching it because then I start waiting for the movie even more than I already do and it's still 40 days to go!!!

Saw the trailer on the big screen, which just blew me away, in fact thats the only reason i went to see the Matrix, to catch a glimpse of ROTK :p

39 Days
07 Hours
22 Minutes
40 seconds to go ... ahhhhhh Not long to go :D

I've watched 3 movies on the big screen lately, and have been wanting to see the preview, but nothing came, consider yourself lucky Gildor

I accidentally caught the trailer in front of some other film, and my hubby thought I was going to need medical attention!
When I saw the black towers come onto the screen and heard the music, I sat bolt upright, gripped his arm and my chair, and began hyperventilating. Tears began flowing and couldn't stop.....I felt transported into another plane of existence.

I am very much afraid for the actual film....I hope there will be ambulances standing by.........

It is an emotional experience, isn't it?

I haven't felt like this about a movie since I saw Elvis in Love Me Tender.

My daughter felt the same way about Saturday Night Fever -- the first time she saw it, she sat next to a lady who was on her 48th viewing.

My son was nutso for the first Star Wars movies and camped out for tickets the first time the trilogy was shown.

Like Peter Beagle says in the intro to the books, Frodo lives. Indeed.
