New blog post: Vikings and Me

I put up a freebie short story from Inish Carraig, mostly to please my family and friends because it's set in my home town, but it's for anyone who's read and liked the book. (The aliens have invaded Belfast and the point of view character has been taken by the local hardmen so that her brother won't tell the cops something important that he knows.)

I also, since I'm tidying up, put up a freebie from Abendau, dealing with some of the mythology:

So, it's Friday and blog day. Here's what I found happened when I got published, warts and all:

I got a bit distracted by becoming an Amazon bestseller in the middle of this, so it might get a bit unstructured.

Sorry about that, Kenny! Have A different one instead. (Still can't find reverse!)

Anyhow, I blogged about podcasting and how much fun I found it. I stuck a couple of tips in to make myself useful:

No song this week, just some musings.
I talked about why you should write your own book and not try to be anyone else.

JoZebwrites: Why can't I write like....

That sucks, but I do understand as there is really no chance of making a living in my chosen genres....poetry, flash, short stories.
