I want to start by saying thanks to all the edits and advice from the sffworld community. Just received this story back from my editor with the revisions.
Stafford Hall does exist and I did a little investigative work in Clear Springs, Maryland and this got some ideas brewing. On my website there is a picture of the house but it's not a closeup cause I wanted to respect the privacy of family living there.
