The horror of when a story goes off track.

Whoa Tblue, would IV be upset if I gave him a hug, that was brill.....

Will he be adding more to the " blog" I didn't know quite what he was calling you, but had a good idea...:D :D

Ahh the forgotten threads of yesteryear than were concieved before my arrival.

I have done this a few times H, me old mate.
It happens to me when I'm trying to force writing out. (Remember that 1000 words a day thread?)
Sometimes it's best to let it lie and wait until you've got the story going in thr right direction rather than careering off the path into "the obvious".
A good story can quickly turn into mediocrity when rushed.
Good things to those who wait etc.

Hmm. I missed this thread when it came out (must've been on vacation at the time...)

My stories tend to erupt into bad humor. Very bad. So bad that even my husband can't understand it (and he understands my humor, generally).
I have one character who thinks that he is very funny (he isn't) and he's always doing stupid stuff (like, for instance, showing up for serious council meetings in veils and silk dresses). I've left everything as it is...partly because I'm not sure what to do about Edsel. This is, after all, a part of his character. ::gulp:: I just don't want anyone to think I tell really bad jokes! (true as it may be ;) )
