Moon Knight S01E02 for this evening.
Edit: Another good episode. This series is shaping up well.

Also last night:

Anomalia (2016) . Episode 1. Interesting enough pilot episode.

Still re-watching "House" episodes. Just started Season 5 last night. Amazing how many of these episodes I missed back in the day. We were thinking we must have changed providers or something back then to have such a large hole of new (to us) episodes.

I’m two episodes into the new HBOMAX series Our Flag Means Death, and it’s a funny historical comedy, which is based on a true story. IMDB describes it like this:

“The year is 1717. Wealthy landowner Stede Bonnet has a midlife crisis and decides to blow up his cushy life to become a pirate. It does not go well.”

It includes Rhys Darby, Taika Waititi, and Kristian Nairn (Hodor from GOT) as pirates!

Up to date on the second season of Resident Alien. They've really upped their game and the plot is unfolding. I could have seen it go several ways, none of which are what happened, and it's still a joy to watch, though the comedy is beginning to take something of a backseat to drama now.

Okay then, finished Funeral for a Dog.
Brilliant. Stunning. Gorgeous. Gripping. Enthralling. Just some of the words I would not use to describe this show. Of all the German dramas I've seen, this is one. It's not very good really. I had to force myself to watch it since there's a sort of a mystery-ish and I wanted to see how it ended, but really it wasn't worth it. Not recommended.

Archive 81 (2022 - 1 Season / 8 Episodes - US): It's a shame that this really good Netflix series about a fantastical cult was canceled after just one season. The ending overtly shows that this was not the intended result for its makers. It reminded me of the Spanish movie entitled Durante la tormenta, with some of its aspects. 8/10

Equinox (2020 - Season 1 / 6 Episodes - Denmark): A pretty nice Danish Netflix series; or not so nice... What secrets does that grimoire hold?.. It hasn't been announced yet, but even if it's gonna be canceled, that wouldn't be a disappointment for most; it is satisfactory as a single season series. 7.5/10

Will start on Outer Range soon, in the meantime have been watching Severance which is quite good so far:

"Mark leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives; when a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it begins a journey to discover the truth about their jobs".

Watched the third season of Miracle Workers (this one subtitled Oregon Trail). Personally, I think the connection is too tenuous now. The first one was cool, the second bore no real resemblance at all to the first and the third is, basically, a satirical Wild West thing. I mean, it's okay but I didn't laugh much. Steve Buscemi is wasted on this, though I guess it's good to see Daniel Radcliffe can do comedy. After a fashion.

Started the fourth season of Wellington Paranormal. I love(d) this show, but I think it's finding it hard going now. Only one episode but I see the flaws which entered from season three continuing and widening. We'll see how it goes I guess.

Good to get back into Better Call Saul, the 6th and final season (and confirmed appearances coming from Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, not sure when and for how long though).

Severance was great too; the last episode a cliffhanger (and brilliantly done).

The Sea Devils? Really? Oh dear.

Gave up on Wellington Paranormal for now. I was right, it seems: the joke which had begun to wear thin by season three has frayed even more. The stories are just silly now, and not funny silly. Don't know if I'll go back to it.

Started watching Whiskey Cavalier. Sort of fun FBI romp with a surprising amount of humour and romance. Pretty good. I'm enjoying it.
