Well, without Spoilering anything, I have to say I was sitting there waiting for the final episode of PD:CoA when I realised I had already watched it. Now there's a series that needed a second season. Cancelled though, so what can you do? Was coming along nicely, bloody typical. Definitely worth watching if you're okay with having a sort of feeling of being left hanging at the end.

People that love Pride and Prejudice and don't normally like zombie movies really enjoy the movie. I watched it with my mom, and she was basically spellbound even though she can't sit through essentially *any* fantasy movie. Never read Pride and Prejudice, but the movie was definitely entertaining in a way that most zombie movies just aren't. Oddly enough, essentially just plopping zombies into P & P with a bit of backstory resulted in a zombie movie with a plot and a bit of character and charm.

Getting bored now with Raised by Wolves by episode 4 - the flashy first two episodes have now devolved into predictable dialogue between some annoying kids and the androids; if it doesn't pick up by episode 5 I'm abandoning.

Halfway through the first season of Better Call Saul and really liking it - can't believe I didn't watch it sooner!

Old but has anyone seen Person of Interest? Very good show with a pretty layered storyline touching on the dangers of over-surveillance of the population, leading into a kind of T2 AI war thing. Recommended if you haven't seen it. And it lasted like five seasons I think.

I saw some of it after reading about it on Peter Watts' blog, I believe. I don't know why I stopped watching.

This looks really good. I'm a big fan of Tennant. He can play a cop (Broadchurch), a doctor accused of being a killer (Deadwater Fell) and I'm sure playing a serial killer can't be beyond his abilities. Where is this on?

There is an ITV player out there, if that helps.... here it's on over three nights (Monday- Wednesday). Am recording it all to watch - suspect I'll want to watch it all together at some point.

Watched episode 1 last night and was impressed. Distressing subject of course, but Tennant is very good and even looks disturbingly like Nilsen.

It's really good, and if you get a chance to see Staged, where it's just him and Michael Sheen at home arguing about a non-existent event that will never take place, check it out. Absolutely mesmerising and hilarious.

Staged is out here on Netflix and the BBC iplayer. I loved it.

Started watching the new Netflix on the Challenger Disaster. Very good so far, but very sad.

Mind you, the first episode is jaw-dropping in showing the way that women astronauts are treated. Some of the questions they were asked in interview are astounding. Example: "What reaction do you get when you meet a man and say you're an astronaut?"

I get the feeling that it should be subtitled "Women! Know your place! How dare you want to be involved in space travel!" Wow.

Watched the 3 episodes of Des; it was quite good and Tennant was excellent, though I thought it seemed to end quickly (might have been better over more episodes?) Also noticed how much everyone smoked - made me feel like coughing just watching it!

Second season of Das Boot is, if possible, better than the first. Five episodes in now and can't stop watching it. For those who have seen it, may I just say, naked men in the water getting shot at? Hilarious and tragic, and does the USNAF no favours. Some stunning deaths and developments; so well handled for something coming from the German perspective of WW2, of which there are too few.
