Hey all,
I'm very new to fantasy/sci fi, especially fantasy. The only fantasy books I've really read were the Margaret Weis Drangonlance novels (Chronicles triology and Legends trilogy) back in jr. high about 10 years ago. As I've noticed, Dragonlance isn't exactly the most respected fantasy out there, but I did enjoy the whole fantasy aspect of the book. I guess I can best relate it to several RPG games I've played (Neverwinter Nights, World of Warcraft etc..). I really like the whole idea of wizards, warriors, rogues etc. and I'd love to find a good epic series, both either completed or still in progress. Of course is there is good fantasy, which doesn't meet the whole wizards/warriors image, feel free to throw it out. i'm new and I have no idea what is out there. Still, I have tons of time this summer, I want to dive into a good fantasy series, and what a better time then now? Anyways, feel free to throw out your favorite epic fantasy series! Thanks!
