What games are you playing?

All I have time for is to dabble in Lord of the Rings Online. My wife and I paid for lifetime memberships almost 2 years ago, so we recouped out money ages ago and are basically playing for free now. We play about 1 evening a week and just try to relax and enjoy the game without the mad rush to level cap.

I have been Playing
FFXI, a little Oblivion and spore on PC
Warhawk, Metal Gear 4, assassin's creed, and Little Big planet on PS3

Crackdown ... again. Aside from being all kinds of awesome I've heard there is a sequel potentially in the works, so I got the urge to jump tall buildings in a single bound whilst firing grenades at groups of foolish gangsters.

Resistance 2 but I think this will take a back seat once Killzone 2 comes out. There's only enough time for one FPS in my life.

Played those two levels of Resident Evil to death and the Killzone demo. Finally decided to invest in Uncharted: Drake Fortune and really enjoying it so far.

Fallout 3, boishock, Devil may cry 4, Farcry 2. I'm waiting for resident evil 5 and killzone 2 to come out.

Been playing King's Bounty: The Legend lately. Lots of fun for fans of the original or the Heroes of Might and Magic series, really enjoying it :)

Asassins Creed - bit tedious and repetitive, could have been so much better.

Very frustrating game. Could have been amazing, but I get bored of the repetitive tasks.

I want to find out what happens in the “current” time – stole the key off the doctor, but can’t be bothered doing another round of investigations to get to the information to carry out the assassinations required.

Some great ideas, but a bit more variation on the information gathering tasks would have improved the game greatly The story just doesn’t progress whilst you are doing that part of the game, it is only when you carry out the assassination that you get a glimmer that all isn’t what it seems.

Yeah I don't think I'm that far into the game atm, just done my second assassination in Jerusalem which was fourth overall, so ixnay on the spoilersay just yet :)
The main gripe for me other than that the control system could do with being tighter - fighting and jumping especially - is the lack of variety. At the highest point in Jerusalem, the uber-church in the rich district, when you do the Y button visual there's this stunning, sweeping panorama of the bay and the whole city. I'm sat there thinking, they could have done a mission where you have to get onto a ship and poison the crew (the rigging as the high point of the ship :)), they could have used a smuggler cave system story - so many possibilities. I can understand the first three assassinations being training runs so why not for the next set remove all the icons so you have to do some actual work yourself. I hope this was them testing the format and the technology so that a sequel could be very interesting indeed.

Kept it as vague as possible!

But I do agree, the game had so much potential and while the story line has grabbed me, I haven't the motivation to continue to repeat the tasks to progress the story line.

Much obliged, I thought blackcat though was going to tell me the ending for a minute there :)

Unfortunately for me I'm a bit of a completionist, getting my money's worth and all that, so I'm sticking with it - excruciating informer assassination missions an'all. As regards the series to me, so far - I haven't seen the end yet obviously - it has the same feel as GTA in that almost any time period (for GTA it's places in the world) could fit the format and be interesting. Caveman Creed ftw :D

No I would never do that, will say it kind sucks.

Right now Playing Enchanted Arms and Prince of Persia.

No worries, I was just being a bit paranoid :) Also you can say more than that now :) - finished it yesterday and meh! Although the computer explained what the writing on the walls and floors was, not to mention the flashes during sleep, I still couldn't believe they decided to stop the animus or overall game at that point. Comics, TV, even books can get away with 'to be continued' but a game whose sequel will take 2 years to make, assuming they get started straight after the previous one is finished, isn't on. Not to mention the relatively high cost to the customer. Disappointing.

Just started Far Cry 2, don't like the map system or the malaria nonsense and shooting seems hit and miss, might try something else instead.

Finished Uncharted. Good game and looking forward the the sequel.

Just waiting for Killzone 2 now...

I think KZ2 and God of War 3 may finally tempt me into getting a PS3, I've been pining for MGS4 for ages but without more than 4-5 games I'm interested in I just couldn't justify the cost.
