Still playing the s**t out of Little Big Planet. I can't get enough of that game. Finally picked up Killzone 2, but I haven't had time to get very far. I played the demo of Infamous and was really pleased with the way the game runs, but I haven't bought it yet. I'm extremely excited for "Project Trico", the leaked trailer looked amazing! I've been keeping up to date with e3, and as of yet I am unimpressed with 360's Natal.

I saw that, I think it's being called The Last Guardian now. I really enjoyed Project Ico and Shadow of the Colossus so I'm looking forward to this. Which along with God of War 3, Unchartable 2 and Infamous may force me to get a PS3 ... though I've said that a few times before and haven't bitten yet.

With E3, I thought the industry had got fed up with it and what it turned into but now it seems like we can't do without the big show. Best bit of news for me was that the two GTA DLC's might be put on a disc for normal distribution, I really want to play those.

Currently playing Saints Row 2, just started but plenty fun already.

I guess I haven't been as updated as I thought! I loved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. This should be great. I had forgotten about God of War 3, which looks amazing too. I have a ps3 and a 360, but I haven't played anything but Braid in a while. There are too many games on the ps3 that have my attention. Uncharted 2 looks great, but Assassin's Creed 2 sounds retarded to me. I didn't like how they set themselves up for a sequel in the first one. I've been playing Cuboid from the psn, and it is addicting.

I only caught it whilst surfing Gamespot and saw them talking up The Last Guardian otherwise would have gone straight over my head :) Quite like the look of AC2 tbh, not that different from AC1 (which narked me badly by the end, especially the ending) but if they do sort out all the issues they suggest they have and implement the new features, that could be everything AC1 should have been. Darkstalkers for 360 looked good in a we're-not-getting-God-of-War-so-let's-make-something-similar way and a Metal Gear game coming to 360 was a shock. Plus a new Halo game seemingly based on one of the novels and sounding very good if true. E3 was always awesome, I don't know why they tampered with it.

I am not a Halo fan at all, but mainly because I am a girl and I can't stand listening to 12 year olds make sexual comments to me. That aside, I still don't like game. Yeah I'm not holding my breath for anything special in AC2, that way I will be pleasantly surprised if it is a success. I did not like the ending of AC1 at all, but I understand why they did it that way. I haven't read anything on Darkstalkers, I'll have to go check that out. And I agree with you. I would have watched e3 either way.

Some good stuff coming out of E3 and like the return to the classic format.

As a PS3 owner, I was glad to see some strong exclusives for the system as so far things have been pretty poor. On a personal note I'm really looking forward to Uncharted 2. Currently playing the beta for the online content and really enjoying it. However, the first game won me over with not only it's game play, but with the script and story.

It is great new that Team Ico have a new PS3 game coming out and I am God of War 3 is going to be a must have for me. Heavy Rain also sounds interesting... might even make it out before the long awaited Alan Awake. The idea that the main character can get killed, but that the game doesn't end is an interesting one.

AC2 looked amazing... really digging the setting and time period. Hopefully the game will offer more variety in mission types as that is what ruined AC1 for me.

Another game I am looking forward to is the Star Wars: Old Republic. The trailer for it was quality and whilst I'm not sold on the graphical style, it looks better than Galaxies did. Not a massive MMORPG fan, but for an online Star Wars game... I'll give it a go.

On a final note... while I am not sure of the gaming application of it, Microsofts Project Natal presention was breath taking. As I said, no idea what type of games will come from it, but the it was pretty cool.

I liked the sound of Natal a lot, until I saw the video for Milo's World. I'm not sure what it is, but something about that game creeps me out. Some random little seven year old asks you to go fishing with him. I feel awkward, like I'm a pedophile for playing with a kid. That creepiness aside, I'm curious to see what other kinds of games they will apply this too. Hopefully something more adult.

I'm working on my second/third playthrough of Mirror's Edge when I'm not playing WoW. I've also got Far Cry 2 that needs finishing. Well, I'm going to be home a lot whilst looking for a job, so I've got time to finish it! I think the first expansion of F.E.A.R. needs completing too, as does HoMM V + Expansions.

I've... got a lot to play.

Right now I am playing:

Wario World(I know a little old but introducing it to my wife, great game)
Rock Band 2
Metroid Prime(every now and then)
World of Warcraft (been playing for about 4 years)
Warcraft 3 (wanted to watch the story unfold again)

I am a pretty big gamer, have been for years. Right now I even work for a marketing company that has been doing some gaming campaigns, right now we are doing the Mountain Dew Horde Red, Alliance Blue Game Fuel campaign. Nice when work and play intersect:cool:

How is Rockband 2? I've put off playing it because I had other games I was working on (mainly Fallout 3). I played the first one and liked most of the songs, but I heard that you can download all of the songs from RB2 to RB? That could just be a rumor, but it would be sweet if I could, so I wouldn't have to buy the game. I've noticed that PSN is releasing a lot of track packs for RB2 and GH:WT, so I should probably get it anyways...

I'm so excited that LBP is coming to the PSP. :)

Just clocked Saints Row 2 and really enjoyed it, bit easy difficulty wise though I didn't have it on the hardest setting, it was slick and very GTA-like if GTA hadn't gone serious for this generation. A few bugs with the AI that got me a little heated at times but at just over 30 hours of gameplay for a 90% completion rating, time and money well spent. I have Prototype - it's next :)

Rock Band 2 is a great game, I don't believe you can download all of the content from RB1 to RB 2 though but you can the other way around.

Almost makes me wish I would have just waited for the second one, then downloaded all the content from the first. Oh well.

Yeah, I just think that 360 is trying too hard. Wii was smart when it targeted new audiences with Wii Fit, and Ps3 was smart when they showcased the Eye Toy a few years ago. But Natal does not seem like a smart idea to me.

Don't you mean PS2 was smart when they showed Eye Toy? It's been around a while now.

I'm not convinced by Natal, either. I *may* consider a Wii when the new Zelda comes out, but I doubt I will bother. Motion tracking doesn't really interest me, especially when cameras are involved. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not too interested.

Currently playing : Far Cry 2. 'part from the bugs and slightly rocky performance, it's good. Nearly 70% through!

Ahh, yes you are right. I just never used it for the ps2. My bad.

I've been getting my current boyfriend into games, and it feels like I'm rediscovering them for the first time. It's wonderful. I brought over Shadow of the Collossus, Ico, Odin Sphere, Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia, Ar Tonellico, Okami, Twilight Princess (gamecube version) and I started him on Little Big Planet and Super Smash Bros Brawl. As of yet, he won't play Resistance with me, but I'm working on it. He's more of a RPG or side scrolling guy so far, but that's probably because he plays L5R and D&D. Overall, it's a great experience so far. He's so enthusiastic. :)

I'm sure it's the games ;)

Cracked open Prototype and very enjoyable first few hours. The controls are a little loose, it's a bit on-the-rails to start with and the difficulty curve could do with tweaking but otherwise it's like Spiderman 2 (the game) only you get to play as Carnage. Crazy battles, some spectacular abilities once you can afford to upgrade, a big map and some difficult side challenges. Only really annoying thing is the writing is so small in sections of the options menu it's v.difficult to see what buttons you're supposed to press to use the upgrades. Similar problem to Dead Rising.

[RANT]Oh and for some inexplicable reason in order to play Prototype I had to 'upgrade' my Xbox 360 with something called Microsoft Experience which completely changed the 360 front-end interface to a bag of shite with a dumb 3-D avatar. Was not impressed with having that forced on me, I would like choice.[/RANT]
