Can I officially become 'The Infamous Qin,' now that I'm starring in my own poll?
 
Strange - I voted for SoT of the hands down most abysmal crap I've ever laid my eyes on. You'd think tasteless sodomy and derivative and hackneyed plots and characters would be far more unpleasant than Bardos or myself. Go figure.

J.V. Jones's series (The Book of Words?)--the one with The Baker's Boy as the first book.
 
Hmmm...I'd have to say the Recluse series by Modessit, I loved the first book but it just got boring after that.

I absolutely loved Bardos's poll, actually. But then, I'm not one to play the role of the over-sensitive whining maggot; better to be good natured than not about such matters.
 
Well, worst series I ever READ??? I never finished reading the series! Ha! But Wizard's First Rule is the worst carnage I ever laid my delicate eyes upon...
 
As many could have guessed, I voted for SOT. I've gone on and on how much I dislike the series. I didn't think Wizard's First Rule was too, too terrible:o . I though the series would improve with each book, but boy was I wrong. :confused: :mad: :( :eek:
 
Between those three it isn´t a hard choice: never read SOT :confused: , liked AsoIaF :) and disliked WoT :(.
So the worst series is WoT!
 
I chose Wheel of time, instead I don't think that it is the worst series I ever read. But here in Germany it was splitted into 29!! very short single volumes and that's annoying me :mad: I just don't have the money to buy such a huge amount of books, although the first three books of the german translation (I think that equals to the first english book) were not too bad.

If it had been there, I would have voted for Terry Pratchets "Discworld", I started this Hollywood book and imo it wasn't funny or exiting at all, I wasn't able to finish it (much too boring), simply the worst book I've ever read...

Basically , because I am furious. The amount of crap he has given us in books 6 to 9 is simpely unbareble.

But...
I thought the series listet were somewhat polemic, as there are far worse series dumped on our heads.

The Sparhawk dribble by eddings
The Lord of the Isles by Drake
Storm warden by Wurts

They are my ultimate disaster series.
 
The thing is... I have not read any of the other two series. Started the first Goodkind and lobbed it across the room. So I have not read his series. But from the sampling I got, I am not GOING to read it, either...

Can I mention The Last-Herald Mage series by Mercedes Lackey? I know its not listed but I thought it was absolute rubbish.
