Hey guys, I need some advice. I only have a limited amount of reading time as I am a 17 year old junior in high school (lots of work). Firstly, let me just list some of the series I found to be good so you can get a taste of what I like.
Loved Eragon when i first read it, thought it was the best fantasy ever, went on to read the next two, and am waiting on the fourth.
Enjoyed the Ranger's Apprentice series, and loved the Cirque Du Freak series.
I also loved a unique little series called Gregor the Underlander.
The Bartimaeus Trilogy also proved to be one of my favorites, and I LOVED the humor in it.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Sharing Knife Trilogy.
The pivotal point in my fantasy reading was one I read both Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy, and Tawny Man Trilogy. These books were just amazing, and unlike any fantasy I have ever read. After reading these, I realized that most of the fantasy I mentioned above were mere pulp in comparison, although I still love the Bartimaeus trilogy and the Sharing Knife Trilogy.
So, as Robin Hobb's books as the basis of my taste, which of the following do you guys recommend I read first? Also keep in mind, I don't want one book to spoil my taste for the other, so you might suggest me reading some of the "lesser" quality ones first, although I picked them out by amazon reviews and reading posts here, so they should all be very good

The Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicle Book 1)
The Initiate (Time Master Trilogy, Book 1)
Dune (Dune Chronicles, Book 1) - I'm also interested in science fiction.
The Blade Itself (The First Law: Book One)
The Final Empire (Mistborn, Book 1)
The George R.R. Martin series that I hear so much about - should I save it for last? Will it spoil my tastes for other fantasy?
