What games are you playing?

Picked me up a copy of Pokemon Sun the day it came out. Yes, a large part of the game is nostalgia value, but at the same time the game is so different from the originals that it feels like an attempt at a legitimate RPG. There's way more characters that have a stake in what's happening, there's a story line, and like most RPGs you can decide how to respond to people throughout the game in conversation or what-have-you. That said... It's still a Pokemon game. You can only take it so seriously...

Been playing SuperHot VR. It's a strange game, because a perfect playthrough can be done in not much more than ten minutes, but since any hit makes you restart that section, anything but a perfect playthrough takes quite a lot longer than that.

Also, bits of me ache all over after a couple of days playing it.

Time Stories, Pandemic Legacy, and Neuroshima Hex - all board games, all Christmas gifts, all outstanding.

Just want to endorse the website BoardGameGeek.com, which has been my Time Kill Central lately. Very smart and thorough site, with a nice community of readers/commenters.

Family has been playing Exploding Kittens with the new-ish Imploding Kittens expansion.

My son and I, The Awful Green Things From Outer Space . . . ahh, this is why I had children.

Hi everyone!
I want to setup Minecraft server. As far as i know, the first step is a "dedicated root server" selection. To be honest I do not really get how to choose a dedicated root server and what it is actually... I am new in the games. Maybe someone can give me advice?

If you're hosting for yourself and a few friends, you can use your computer as the hosting server. Otherwise you'll need to rent a server from a server hosting company that has root level administrative access.

The normal server program you can download from Minecraft unless you're doing one of the mod packages like Attack of the B-Team or Feed the Beast. I'd also suggest installing WorldEdit (handy for making your own spawn quickly), Bukkit's GriefProtection & Sign Shop - you have to pay for them but they make life easier for you and any Moderators.

Unfortunately I've only helped with servers, I've never set one up. You may want to try someplace like Planet Minecraft? Btw, one rule to always have is anyone who shows up asking for op level access claiming they're a reviewer from Planet Minecraft, kick them at once. Reviewers never should have op access.

I have just started playing P.A.M.E.L.A. - It is an Indie game available since yesterday on STEAM. So far I am enjoying it a lot. The game is still in early access so there are bugs and crashes but they have not really impeded my fun.

Playing either Halo 5 online or Hitman at the moment - both are great.

Thank you for that detailed answer! Will definitely check about a server hosting company. I thought before that WorldEdit supports only single players...
Btw, never heard before about Bukkit's GriefProtection & Sign Shop. Could you explain more what do you mean by saying that they make life easier?
Also, thanks a lot about advice according the op level access.

Btw, did someone try to play Minecraft online game? Any opinion?
Something similar to that...

GriefProtection allows players a way of marking off a plot for themselves using a golden shovel, usually the minimum is 10 x 10. Oddly enough, putting down a chest will also create a 9 x 9 plot. Depending on how you set up your game, players may earn more claim blocks or buy them from you.

SignShop allows you to sell things to your player to make life easier - be it saplings, buckets of lava, or a loaf of bread. Requires the vault plugin.

I was planning to play Mass Effect Andromeda. Now I am not so certain, with the poor animations and the lengthy campaign

I loved ridiculously bad dialogues in some promotion videos. They are ‘so bad it’s good’ quality of material. Like watching a really bad teen movie or sitcom filmed at the same site as blockbuster. I doubt we’ll see another game like this anytime soon.

Picked up the combined MGS Ground Zeros and The Phantom Pain.

The 'building' section is on my errrrmmm list at the moment but mainly, when the %£##& am I getting a sniper rifle?

That's true of every Mass Effect game, isn't it? I only got half-way through the first one and part-way into the demo of the second, but I remember thinking many times 'If I was editing this movie, I'd have cut out half this dialogue'.

Back to Dirt Rally and a bit of Robo Recall here. I really should find some time to get back into Skyrim.

Playing Mass Effect 1-2 is like watching Babylon 5 rip-off. The third part had some of the stupidest dialogues I ever read or heard with cosmic amount of pathos. Judging from trailers Andromeda is like sitcom in space. It’s not a game; it’s a monument to the generation of social justice whiners who spend their meaningless life by posting tweets about white males and their dominance over lesser races and females. After the game will fail they will continue whining that no one want to give them new job because they are gay, lesbian or Asians and not because they botched 40 bn dollar project.

Do you have trouble remembering to breath ?
