TV Series or Show You're Watching

Watched Legion s3e1 and immediately had to go back and start the whole thing again from s1e1.
Man.
Syd sure does have an epic character arc. But David doesn't seem to've changed (as a character) at all. I really love this show. Can't decide whether I'm sad that this is the last season or relived that they'll be quitting whilst ahead.

I just discovered that the original BBC series “Being Human” is now available on Amazon Prime, so I started watching it. The description is:

“Being Human... nobody ever said it was easy. But for three twenty-something roommates - vampire Aidan (Sam Witwer), ghost Sally (Meaghan Rath) and a werewolf Josh (Sam Huntington) - is it even possible?”

This is so much better than the SyFy American remake. It is an odd cross between horror, humor, and character drama.

It is quite odd now seeing how many of the stars have now become much bigger since the series was first shown...

Well, for some inexplicable reason “Stargate Atlantis” reappeared in my Amazon Prime watchlist. It even remembered what episode I was on before it vanished. So, I resumed where I left off. Hopefully, it will remain for a while this time...

You are right there, I just realized that Aidan Turner played Poldark in the BBC series, and the dwarf Kili in Peter Jackson’s Hobbit Trilogy!
 
Watched After Life, the series by (and starring) Ricky Gervais - this was really well done, a clever mix of dark comedy and the emotions of dealing with the loss of someone close.

Are you familiar with the new Australian production Les Norton? It is based on a series of books. Some reviewers complain the main character is too PC compared to his un-PC book counterpart. I had never heard of this before, but am going to watch episode(s) 1 (& 2) perhaps this weekend.

First episode was enjoyable. I've been having flu symptoms since at least Monday, currently down with a fever, so this was just the diversion I needed. On to episode 2.

Yes, I read the books years ago, and have also started watching the series. I think the TV version is more PC (to be with the current times, the first book was written in the 80's), but I don't think it detracts from the show. The actor playing Les does a great job of portraying what he's like in the novels.

I'm surprised you like it - very over-the-top stereotypical Aussie characterizations from the 80's! I thought the books were better but after a few they got a bit repetitive and unrealistic. Harmless fun though.
 
I thought the second episode was even better. Pretty funny. Going to keep watching.
 
Family have been trying to get me to watch the first series for ages. Evidently there's a few actors from Fringe in it... especially Season 2.
 
Episode 6 now. I am going to binge on the whole second season today.
I had to Google Fringe. Can't help you there.
 
Watching Stargate: SG-1 and Farscape. I'm also trying The Expanse but it's tough going. I couldn't stomach the first book and the show isn't much better to be honest.
