I love Anita Blake books
I read all her books this last year, and not in order. I like most of them. Although I do have least favorite (Danse M). I was sick of listening to her guilt about sex. Have it with them all, some none but quit sniveling I thought. Harl. was much better. As I look at other authors, I like all the ones mentioned above as well as Tanya Huff and a few of Mercedes Lackeys books. Non vampire but urban fantasy is another genre I have started liking and James De lint is pretty good at that. Oh yea, I just read a great book (in my opinion) Called Sunshine. It was a vampire book. Quite refreshing approach. McKinnley is the author I believe. I also loved Nightseer and Strange Candy and the Merry books.
I don't read much romance but do read sci fi /fantasy and some horror. Have all my life.
