A long life can give you experience without giving you certainty. That is the question at the centre of The Unified Doctor Adventures, our unofficial Doctor Who fiction project.
Its Doctor brings many lives together in one integrated consciousness, carrying their memories and contradictions into new journeys. The adventures explore responsibility, difficult choices and companions who have their own ideas about what helping should mean.
The stories are free to read online, alongside illustrations, original soundtrack albums and short scenes in motion. Book One, Threads of Becoming, is complete and provides the starting point; the website also includes a first-time reader’s guide.
