San Francisco Time Travel?

This has been driving me crazy for years -- trying to remember a movie I saw when I was a kid, I'd guess it was probably made in the early 70s. All I remember is a guy going back in time to what might have been San Francisco at the turn of the century. I think it may have been San Fran because there was a huge fire at the end and they were dynamiting buildings to make firebreaks & stop the spread of the flames. The woman he'd fallen in love with ran into one of the buildings to get a kid who was trapped inside and the building got dynamited. It ended with him in a graveyard in the present day looking at her decades-old gravestone. One thing that occurred to me is that it might have been not a movie but an episode of "Time Tunnel," but I doubt it because I seem to remember it ended with a freeze frame of the cemetery & "Time Tunnel" never ended on a freeze frame.

omg!! i used to watch this movie when i was little...90s and I cannot remember what it was called!! I know it has the song 'john jacob jingleheimer schmidt' in it and a lot of other song similar to that. it had this lady who lost her colored stripes and had to get them back with the help of two kids who lost their dog... i'll think of more stuff later but please help!!!!

I loved that show! I think it was called "Wee Sing in Sillyville"

Need Help Remembering Title of an Animated Film or TV Show from the 1970's (?)

First time here, hope I'm doing this right, sorry if not, hope to get the hang of it soon enough!
I have like no information just a vague memory of this really scary animated film or tv show I saw on television when I was about 5-6 (early 1970's?)... I think it was meant to be scary because it scared me silly - strange then that I have no memory of the story, just this one character that might have been transformed into this weird little creature with... and here even this memory is vague... big feet and freaky hair and what appeared to be no real body. It was just freaky... and this character was mean and nasty and it was very dark - the landscape strange. I would love to know what it is... wish I had more details to go on... hope it triggers something in someone! Thanks!

I agree, I remember watcing this show, It had Iggy the Iguana as one of the characters.

#1: I think its British a movie in the 80s or early 90's where a Boy Goes into a portal a swirly portal I think and then he turns into an annimated boy and some wizard or something teaches him math as he goes through this adventure and theres a spot with a ton of crazy stairs and he has to move a pile of sand with a pair of tweezers.

I remember this movie vividly and am also trying to find it. I'm almost positive it started in a bedroom or something with a huge wooden crate. When he enters this other world, he meets a watch dog--a dog with a clock tied around his neck. I think they drive around in a red convertible for a while.

I also remember the math wizard, and the sand and tweezers. There was a part where the kid sits down to dinner and delivers a speech of some sort and then has to "eat his words." Also, there was something about moving water using a tiny eye dropper.

Seriously wish I could remember any of the characters names from this >.> Anyone have any ideas?

Ok so I don't have a lot of details to work with here but I have these vague memories of this movie I saw when I was a kid probably sometime about 15 years ago. So I think the main character was a boy, and somehow he ends up in this fantasy world and is befriended by some sort of creature. Iremember there being a lot of trees...I think the creature can fly or something, or at least he carries the boy on his back at some point? I think the antagonist is an evil woman, she may live in a fortress or something? ...there's not a lot to go on here but if anyone has any suggestions...

Yes that one is definitely Phantom Tollbooth. It's based on the book by Norton Juster. Great movie but great read too.

Help please with a children's movie!

Hi all!

Can anyone help with a kid's movie I saw a few years ago?

It is about a boy who finds this sheepdog. The dog leads him to a tree in a field. When the boy leans against the tree he and the dog are transported back in time. There is one scene where a girl can't breathe and she is in hospital. He rushes over to give her a puff of his inhaler before he is dragged out. She survives because of him. I think that he read somewhere that she died and that is why he knew what to do.

I would love to find out what this movie is. Any brainboxes out there who can anyone help? Thanks

I need help remembering an old sitcom.

I don't remember much about it. I think it was probably produced in the late 70's or early to mid-80's.

It was about some sort of media, I think about a newspaper. I'm not for sure on that. It could have been a radio or TV station. (It's not WKRP in Cincinnati.)

In the opening sequence, a guy (I think the sportscaster) almost took a bite out of a baseball, thinking it was an apple.

My father used to watch this show, and I've been wracking my brain trying to remember what it was. All help is appreciated! Thanks so much!

Driving me crazy!

New here, I was looking for a message board just like this cause figuring out this movie is driving me nuts. It's about these four vampires that have fought in all the wars...that about all I remember, think the last war they fought in was Vietnam. I saw the trailer for this movie and it looked really good, but now I cant even remember the movie I watched that had the trailer. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't seem to remember this Sci-Fi tv show for the life of me. It's been bugging me the last few days.

It was an animated show set in the future. It aired sometime in the mid to late 90's, most likely around 97 or 98. There was only one season, or maybe part of a second one. Not many more than 10 or 15 episodes though. I don't remember many details (I would have been seven or eight at the time) but it reminds me of the movie Titan AE a lot.

It centers around a late teenagerish kid who escapes earth (which I believe is destroyed at some point) and battles against this oppressive government type. We see his father during the first episode, I think fighting off some alien dogs as he is born or something. As the show progressed I think he found his dad. One of the last episodes was an hour long and they went to a different planet, or maybe the moon and then I think the show ended.

Sorry I can't be much more help, I was really young and no one else seems to remember it.

Just for the record, it was shown quite a lot here in the UK on BBC TV in the 70's. The Chuck Jones connection can't have done it too much damage.

Certainly remember watching it when little before Doctor Who (so that'll make it a Saturday, then. )

Ok I saw this really strange movie a long loooong time ago. I only remember these parts this girl is staying with this really sweet old couple (i dont remember how she came to be with them but she doesnt know them well) They have this big hot tub in their home and this girl swims in it all the time, the woman said her husband built it for their kids i also remember it having toys in it. Then the girl found heads in a cabinet downstairs and i think they were trying to eat her or atleast kill her or something. If anyone knows about this let me know PLEASE! LOL.

Ok i am trying to remember the name of a movie i saw all i can remember is there is a car chase and the car dies the driver says something like "the car is dead" the passenger says "no it's not" and using his powers he smacks the dashboard and the car starts back up and the chase resumes, please help

Sci Fi Tv Show

Hi there! I have been trying to remember a series that had an episode where one of the men on the crew of a ship was trying to be chosen as a husband & father to one of the women that ruled some planet. It was supposed to be the highest "honor" he could have. Can't remember much more about this episode or the series ( I was very young watching it) but I THINK there might have been a blue lady on the crew as well. Thanks for the help!
