As Mr B5 is supreme dictator for the month - HE's story should stand proud among us plebians. Or some such nonsense.

I agree HE in regards to your point. We can't even get along with each other with all our cultural barriers, let alone really understand other creatures that have evolved right along with us and then we think we'll understand or even recognize aliens? As a species, we have a lot of growing up to do.

@DD - bummer you are not participating this month. Hope you join us for the holidays. :)

I hate that. Here's what I do. Instead of refreshing the page all the time, I occasionally hit control-a and then control-c, real quick as I'm typing. That way if I inexplicably lose my post, at least I have a "backup" in my computer's clipboard. It works for me.

I never write anything straight onto the site - I do it all in word and just copy & paste it into the browser when it's done. It's a pain to have to fix formatting but it's a lot safer!
