Reading in February

Wll, I had to give up on Deadhouse Gates. There goes my Erikson attempt.

Let's just say that his books seem random as hell, with no coherent plot structure and digressions in warrens that bored me silly

Newbie

Hi all new here, love thes ite and forum, You seems to be a well rounded group.........

As for reading I just finished House of Chains by Steven Erikson, WOW........his books are worht the shipping and handling from UK

Before that it was the final book in Paul Kearney's Monarchies series, now in hardcover overseas (got it in a deal with HoC) "Ships from the West"

Now I am looking here for a new book, maybe The Scar.......

Thank you bigbry - not sure about well rounded unless you are talking about my Hobbit shape! :D

Ships from the West is on my 'list to get' as I liked the others in the series I read.

The Scar is pretty well liked round here, though whether it is better or worse than Perdido Street Station is less clear - people seem a little divided on the matter with the (slight) majority in favour of it being better (I think!).

As it is now March, I've closed this thread and started a new one for March.

Best, Hobbit
