Glad to see Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn made the final cut!

7. Rangers Aprentice - Flanagan

10. The Sword of Truth - Goodkind

this is only because I didnt think to much, if I had, I would be here all year!!!

I haven't posted here in ages, but when i saw the link from R. Scott Bakker's blog to the 'best' list, i had to respond. I don't have a top 10 series list. Authors, like myself, are inconsistent. But i have my favorite books including The Darkness That Comes Before. For me, that was an inspiring, amazing, thoroughly unique, brilliant book. I wish i could read it for the first time again. I have other books as well that inspire me, but none changed me as an author more than that one.
