The algorithm that displays "Trending content" on this site appears to be totally broken with today five threads from 2002, 2002, 2018, 2004 and 2011 being listed.

It's not exactly broken, but it seems to count bots and guests which makes the stats pretty useless. I've removed it now and added a Latest Posts widget instead. Moved it to the forums/threads and not the front page though.

Thanks Dag! I was kept seeing the problem after @Mostlyharmless posted this thread. The Latest Posts widget is much better! And isn't that what's "trending" anyways?
