Well, it is considered by many, to be the mother of all deathmatch games.
Got to admit though, the cynic in me is curious as to why there's a 2003 and 2004 version?
Are they just revamping the original to cash in or are the new versions actually offering something new?

Many many more maps...different gameplay... new game types... and vehicles... owners of ut2003 also get a $10 coupon as well. The preorder price for the SE is $39.99US... add that to the $10 coupon for previous owners, it's quite a deal.

My Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles has begun, and it's great. My only suggestion is not to play it like crazy. I did that, and I didn't touch it for almost 2 weeks. But after that, I was itching to play again.

Now if only snake would get it...

I'm still playing NHL2004 and M:TW.

An incredibly annoying bug in NHL2004 made it impossible for me to get past the first game in the playoffs of my dynasty (it crashes every time), so I had to start a new dynasty. It's supposed to be a sporadic bug, not appearing every time.

I'll have to start playing Harry Potter - Chamber of Secrets and LOTR - ROTK soon, as they are on the curriculum for my course "computer games in a media comparative perspective". It's also required that I have read the books and watched the movies... poor me.

Gotta go do some homework... :D:D:D

Greetings

Playing computer games and watching videos are your homework!?!

What do you do for the exam, replay the War of the Roses on MTW?

Kids these days.
They don't know how good they've got it.

What are you studying for?

To stay on topic: Still playing FF: CC. However, I have played a couple Warcraft games with Dom lately. Don't tell him I said this, but Warcraft isn't one of his strong points....

*Sees Dom coming, Runs*

BUT it is still fun. The last time I played one of those with a someone I knew was probably before you where born.

Then you must have played it in a past life Frosty, as I'm damned sure Dom is older than you, cheeky pup!

:p

Still playing Freelancer. Did the whole "save the universe" bit ages ago, but now I'm scouting the nether regions  of space, chasing up rumours and myths I've heard in the bars etc,
which is actually more fun that the "mission" phase imo.

Love that game. However the Badlands in the Liberty system gave me the creeps, since I couldn't fight for beans in there.

Have you visited the corsair's home planet? That was a major acomplishment for me.

Yep. The got a very nice ship (categorised as a "very heavy fighter") there called a "Titan" which cost me 750,000 creds but is a regular battlecruiser when it's fully kitted out.
I'm still sniffing around the Omnicrom sectors (Gamma, Theta etc)as there's a few places I haven't been yet, but I maxed out the levels at the weekend at level 38. Unfortunately it doesn't go any higher. :(

Ya, those places are CRA-ZAY. Most of them are pretty empty as well. HOWEVER. There is a planet inhabited by MONKEYS!!!!

Great times.

I'll be giving Ninja Gaidin a try on the xbox once I get home (err well after I get some aquariums moved around, anyways).

Yeah, saw some commercials for that, I've been waiting for that for about half a year, looks extremely nice.

Right now I am playing lots, and lots, and lots of WC3 on b.net, mainly custome games such as DOTA's and Enfo's, and I'm just loving it.

I hate both those maps.

Try "Dark Deeds" that is fffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuunnnnn.

I'm Loving it.

I didn't like Dark Deeds....probably because I didn't know what to do. I love DOTA though, so much fun.

DOTA: Darkness Falls, was terrible. I have yet to build up enough courage, or stupidity, depending on your point of view, to download DOTA: All stars.

You don't like Darkness Falls! Oh, it's so much fun, plus there are multiple versions of it, with slightly different heroes and such, it's just great. I think I have one version of all-stars, but it's not as much fun as Darkness Falls, in my opinion.
