What games are you playing?

World of Warcraft

Somewhat excited about Star Wars The Old Republic.. but that's still aways off.

This maybe not the right place to post but, is anyone else looking forward to “The Last Guardian” being released for the PS3?
If you’ve enjoyed either Ico or Shadow of the Colossus you probably are.

This last week I was on a rampage, I finished Hawx 2 and Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions.

Hawx 2 was not as much fun as the original and with all the time they took for the new one to make it to retailers the story is awful and the 'improved' dogfighting was more of the same from the original.

Spider-man:SD was fun although I found it to be a bit on the easy side. They had some new enemies which was nice but overall it was far to quick considering there were around 13 levels.

I know I have a few more games coming but I don't know what they are at the moment. Looking forward to Star Wars Unleashed 2 and Fable 3 when they arrive. And of course Black Ops.

Currently playing Fall Out New Vegas. Been a lot of fun so far. Still haven't found a house yet. Anybody have luck with that? I've just been squatting at the gas station next to the Doc's house.

I'm also looking forward to the Red Dead Undead download content.

Have you checked The Vault (It's a Fallout wiki website)? They should have a page on it by now.

I've been playing a bit of Puzzle Quest 2 lately, and the odd bit of Fallout 3 to ease the pain of not having New Vegas. Got Dawn of War 2 coming very shortly as well.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

I also started New Vegas recently. It's pretty cool so far, even if the bugs are all over the place...

Haven't experienced anything more than the occasional drag or pause while walking. That would happen FO3 though too.

I've also been playing Enslaved. It's fun enough and looks nice. Visually it reminds me of uncharted just with the apocalypse. Unfortunately, it is just too easy. I imagine I'll come back and finish it once I'm done with New Vegas.

If you play it on PC, it's bug-ridden as hell. I play it on X360, and still have enemies melding with the rock (thus becoming unkillable) or running away IN THE SKY... Dialogue options and inventory items disappear, and you have the creepy rotating head of the Doc at the very beginning. I didn't experience that personally, but I've seen it on youtube. It's hilarious.

Still at Fallout and found that there is a room you can rent in Novac. I'm running around with Boone killing whoever and I'm just outside of the strip. I hope there are no issues with getting in.

Finished Dreamfall: The Longest Journey this evening.

Wow, it hits heavy towards the end. Thought it was mediocre at best, but the last few chapters blew me away.

Downloaded Red Dead Undead last night. Probably won't get a chance to play it tonight though.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City

The Lost and Damned down, Ballad of Gay Tony to go. Might do TLAD again soon, need more pics of Ashley ;)

Big box from home arrived today, it contained Force Unleased 2, Fallout Vegas, and Fable 3. Probably tackle Star Wars first then move to Fable. I also have a few more games that will be coming in December mainly Need For Speed, COD Black Ops and Assassin's Creed.

I'll let you know if Force Unleashed 2 is any good. I have heard it is only so-so. I enjoyed the first one so if it is similar to it then it will be a fairly decent title.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 arrived this week, so I played a bit of that.

Fun fun fun!

Finished up Fable 3 the other day. It was fun, but man they really dumbed it down. A lot of things they simplified that I didn't think needed simplifying.

Also, instead of an inventory menu when you press back you had to press start which brought you to a sanctuary and then you had to run around into different rooms. This was very annoying, because if I got a weapon and wanted to see the stats for it, instead of just going to an inventory menu and looking at it (which takes all of what, 15 seconds?) I'd have to press start, be zoomed to the sanctuary then run into a room where the weapon was, have a small load screen that would bring me to the room, run up to the weapon, check it out and then press start again, have another load screen and then be back where I was in the first place. Honestly, that was poorly planned.

And they ruined the best spells. Slow Time and Summon Creatures were my favourites in the first two games, but they got rid of them as spells altogether and made them potions. And of course, the shop keepers only have one or two of them at a time. I think they probably did that in an attempt to make combat harder, but it didn't work. I did the entire final mission in under five minutes. It was laughable, I thought. By the end, with my Ranged, Melee and Magic skills maxed, nothing could stand up to me. All I had to do was cast Lightening once and all the baddies around me died.

It was a fun game, and I enjoyed it, but it's no longer an RPG and it could have been WAY better. I was disappointed.

Yeah. People stuck in bar counters and the such. I don't think they did anything to the engine, really, which is a shame. It's still a good game though.

The first one was ok, but I was done it in like seven hours or something. I spent sixty something dollars on the game for only seven hours? That's a load of crock. I was upset about that. I traded it in, but still. I won't be getting the new one right away. I'll wait until it's old and buy a used copy for $15 bucks.

Gamebryo is, funnily enough, a pretty good engine. Have absolutely no idea what Bethesda have done to it to make it so bad, though, and it seems like Obsidian have inherited the flaws. Still got to wait until December before getting my hands on it :(

I beat Force Unleased II and I have to say it was awful. Nowhere as good as the first. Story was over before it even began and just did not appeal to me at all.

I am working my way through Fable 3 now but I may have hit a snag as I am suppose to go to a bar and break up a murder and capture some guy but once the cut scene is over I can't attack anybody and my enemies just stand there. Hope that when I try the mission again things are fixed otherwise I am going to have to start over at some point later. If I do then I will move on to Fallout Vegas.

Still waiting for a package with a few new games in it which I hope to get early next month if possible.
