What games are you playing?

I think a post Reaper game is unlikely as regardless of which flavour you chose at the end of ME3 galactic conflict is all but over. Unless they go for a spin-off series based on the adventures of another squad member like Garrus or Zaeed.
There are rumours the next Mass Effect game could be set before the whole Reaper war. Possibly the first contact war with the Turians, the Rachni wars or the Krogan Rebellion.
Personally Garrus would be my fave choice, possibly promoted to a Spectre giving him command of his own ship and the chance to reunite some of the old crew.

That's a very limited spectrum if you go for human inclusion, though.

And it is not unlikely that BioWare will once again widdle all over their endings.

Playing Gears of War: Judgement. I understand why there were not a lot of pre-sale reservations as the game seems to be slapped together quickly. What I enjoyed about the previous installments is gone. Now it is fight to a room and then survive wave after wave of various minions. It is telling a story, but we all know the ending. As the missions progress, you have the option to increase the difficulty and add more stars which does nothing for me. I hope to complete it by weeks end so I can trade it in when I go to pick up Defiance two Tuesdays from now.

I'm taking a break from Skyrim to play Tomb Raider. Despite it's unrelenting grimness, I'm quite enjoying it, but I suspect the gender politics should be viewed as problematic.

Aside from That One Scene, not really.

Anyway, I'm playing BioShock Infinite.

That's what I thought. I'd go for that. There'd have to be a reference to Ashley's grandfather.

They've already covered it slightly with the comics, which lends some credibility to it.

So I finally finished the Mass Effect trilogy last night. I didn't play it for a couple of weeks because

I had to choose between the Quarians and the Geth, previous choices did not allow me to save both. I was heartbroken watching Tali commit suicide.

I wasn't that bothered by the ending, like many people. I had guessed a lot of it, so was prepared.

I figured Shepard was going to merge with a machine, and that the Crucible was going to be some sort of Reaper. Everything was leading up to that, it seemed. I was surprised at the A.I. Shepard meets, though. While I think it would have been way cooler to just have made Shepard a Reaper who then kicked some butt, I got and understood the ending. I've seen it used before in the genre. It is rather epic.

Now I'm going to replay 2 and 3 so I can get the 'perfect' ending, and I'm totally going to do it in casual mode. Lame, I know, but I just want to see the difference in the story.

Anyway, I'm playing BioShock Infinite.
Playing this. Having quite a bit of fun with it, I think I'm closing in on the end now. Quite a piece of storytelling, but the gun play can be somewhat clunky. Finding myself mostly sticking to sniper rifle and shotgun. Find cover, lay down some traps to cover blind spots, pick enemies at range with sniper and bust out the shotgun when enemies trip the traps. Works quite well most of the time, until you run into a boss that wants to rush you and are immune to the vigor traps you've put down. So far I've only died 3 times, so not finding it overly difficult.

Tomorrow I go to pick up Defiance, so I will be doing my best to finish my book and dedicate some serious time to it.

Playing Defiance, a lot of fun. A few times the server has gone down but they are on it in a heartbeat. Great support and the Arkfalls are amazing to see all the players rushing to get in on it. I have it on Xbox and while it takes a bit to get used to it, can't recommended it any higher. Can't see myself playing anything else for a while. It is just slow going as I don't have as much time to play as I would like.

Playing TERA Online, atm. Not much else that interests me except for Camelot Unchained which is on Kickstarter. Will have to wait and see if it even gets funded.

played nfs: underground, arctic combat and aion na version
cryostasis
of orcs and men a little bit hard but i liked the game
need for speed: underground 2 a great game

Still playing GW2. I'm surprised I'm still interested in it. Usually I bore of mmos quickly.

Just fired up Deus Ex Revolution this morning. Let's see how it compares to the first one, 'cos that game kicked butt. This is the console version. I have the PC version, but even with some crossfire action (with older video cards, I must admit) the game proved too much for my system.

Can't get enough of Infinity Blade on my iPod. I tried this game and dropped it after about 10 minutes - didn't see what all the fuss was about. Then I tried again while waiting for a meeting and got hooked. I bet I've played 40 hours of Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade 2 at this point. The graphics are phenomenal, the story is excellent (although confusing in the game) and the game play is decent. The metagame of upgrading and skill points is what keeps you coming back.

I hesitate to admit this, but I even bought the novel based on the video game - Infinity Blade: Awakenings. I heard the next release will be a console game, and I can't wait. Nice to see casual games really coming into their own. I haven't touched my console in a couple of months.

Got about 3 hours into Metro Last Light. So far it is excellent. I hear the story starts to crack around the last 1/3 of the campaign, but I have no complaints so far. Having to conserve ammo as well as use it to purchase items adds a bit of extra strategy to the mix.

I don't see myself jumping back into Defiance until I finish this one. FUSE comes out next week, and Deadpool soon after. So, I have a full schedule.

Started Far Cry 3, and can't help but compare it to other open world games. It comes up somewhat lacking, mainly in gameplay. It just isn't as fun to play as Borderlands 2, Infamous or even Rage. The driving is ok, the gunfighting is ok, etc. I do like their fast travel and crafting for the simplicity. It plays better than Skyrim, but doesn't have the immersive feel or Skyrim. It has pretty good crafting, but it doesn't compare to Skyrim. Overall it's a fun game, but it's just missing that 'something' that would put it into a standout category.

EDIT: I think I'm about halfway through Far Cry and it kind of loses its focus in the middle. Lots of dungeon crawls, cut scenes, hallucination sequences, etc. that really takes away from the open world feel of the game. I finished exploring this particular island hours ago and just want to get to part 2 of the game, but I keep having to do tedious quests to get there. I'm about done with playing, I think.

BioShock Infinite.

What? Where's it gone? Finished it yesterday.

I'm sure 1 and 2 took a lot longer. Otherwise, a fair addition to the family.

BioShock 2 was six hours. BioShock Infinite was double that length (BioShock, I think, came in at about the same length, give or take an hour or two).

Just started Bioshock Infinite as well. About an hour in and enjoying it so far. Didn't really care for the first two in the series, but this one is a lot of fun. Want to hurry up and finish this one so that I can get back to FIFA.
