What games are you playing?

Borderlands 2 is fun and has a cool setting but I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere in the game after hours of playing, so I kind of lost interest. It's more fun playing co-op.

Assassins Creed 4 on PS4. I was growing tired with the franchise but after receiving it as a holiday gift I find that I can't get enough. Brilliant fun in a beautifully constructed world.

I'm desperately waiting for the weekend so that I can start episode 2 of The Walking Dead. Can't wait!

I have been dividing my time between Titanfall, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Thief. All great in their own ways.

I'm just playing Facebook games since they take up enough of my time off work, hehe. Just Marvel Avenger's Alliance and Army Attack. Simple games I just leave running while I work. hehe

Mount & Blade: Warband. The medieval-style battles are great at first, but get a bit samey after a while. Particularly when a few dozen of my knights can beat three hundred peasants on the other side with hardly a scratch.

Playing FTL at the moment. At first, with the crappy graphics I couldn't figure out why people recommended it, but now I agree it is an amazing strategy game.

I finished Watchdogs and only finished it to see how it ends. In all honesty, as a big fan of Ubisoft, the game was slightly above terrible. The story/plot was awful and the hype for this game (I had it preordered on day one) was a huge letdown. I only used one weapon for the most part, the silenced pistol and while some people said the aiming mechanics were bad, I actually enjoyed them. If you are thinking about getting it, I would say don't bother unless there is nothing else available.

I will try and finish up Wolfenstein next week or until Sniper III hits shelves on Wednesday.

I'm currently playing Space Hulk (2013), Darksiders, Ultima V and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II.

Recently-bought game I probably won't finish: Expeditions Conquistador. Not fond of the micromanagement and the toll it takes on my GPU for the little there is to animate.

I agree. It has the potential to be an outstanding game but lacks additional features that would offer the player a little variety. I still love the battles though, and I have yet to take over a city. Can't wait for Bannerlord.

Trying to finish up Wolfenstein The New Order but keep getting sidetracked with MLB14 The Show. Need to finish it before Destiny comes out.

Goat Simulator. Not a great game, but fun for a few hours.

Tried Borderlands 2, but it felt like Borderlands with all the fun taken out.

Replaying Dragon Age: Origins for the. . . third, fourth time? Preparing for Inquisition. This time around I've gotten some DLC that I didn't have the last time I played it. I don't know how much time I've wasted just bringing different groups of characters to the bridge that leads to the Proving Grounds in Orzammar just so I can hear their dialogue.

Never thought I was a card-collecting game kind of a guy, but I'm really enjoying Hearthstone. I have read a couple of tutorials online and you can certainly get obsessed with the current meta and the perfect all-legendaries deck, but it's still fun even if you just slap together a deck of favorites and try to win a daily quest.

Oh and I forgot, I bought Agricola online and I'm a convert to playing boardgames on the computer now. My wife and I play a lot of table-top boardgames, but the setup and piece management for complex games like Agricola are insane. Putting that game online where the game takes care of all the maintenance and bean-counting is really cool. I'm considering buying several more board games in the online version.

Bit the bullet and started Clash of Clans. Not bad so far, they seem to have implemented the defend/attach/shield model pretty well so its competitive without being frustrating. Of course, I just started.

Still playing Oblivion (GotY) on the PS3. I have started it some months ago and have maybe 65 hours on the clock.
I prefer Skyrim but Oblivion is still a good game - even played after Skyrim.

Next will be Batman AA and then in the winter months I have planned to play through Demon`s Souls. Looking forward to it (cold shivers running down my neck). I have played Dark Souls on the 360 and have sold it and got a PS3 mainly for the reason to play through its predecessor as well.
After that I have only Fallout 3 on my pile and Dark Souls 2 (and maybe Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 and Risen 3) on my must-buy list of games only available for the old generation. Should last until Christmas 2015 when I have planned to purchase a PS4.

Though I've gotten out of platform and PC gaming, I just can't keep away from RPGs. Playing Dawn of the Dragons on iPhone.

Please don't laugh. I might have to ground pound any disparaging comments.

Super Mario 64. I'm using a Project64 N64 emulator (version 1.6.1, provided on Jabosoft) and a vintage Atomic Grape N64 controller snagged on eBay. This is hooked up to a Dell XPS PC via a Mayflash N64 to PC USB adapter. Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6.1 graphics plug in makes it all wonderfully vivid and lovely and keeps Mario galloping along without a glitch or jitter at 50+ frames per second.

I got the ROM from DOPEROMS. Their selection of vintage Nintendo 64 games is mind boggling.

This old classic has got to be one of the best video games ever created. Seriously.

Been looking for something new after trying Diablo 3 and Dragon Age (my computer keeps locking up during the final battle with the archdemon), I decided to look at table topping again. Jut found out D&D 5e is out now (after only picking up and learning 4e a year ago.) So I started playing an encounters group. Seems very old schoolish (AD&D 2) with some bonus features. Easy to pick up and start. Wonder if the enjoyment will last. I like the strategy 4e brings to combat, but it takes forever to get through anything in 4e.
