Last Movie You Watched - 2020

Today's classic Sci Fi watch was The Day the Earth Stood Still. It was really good.
My Hammer Horror watch was Brides of Dracula. There was no Dracula, but I thought it was really good.

LOVE that movie and have done since I first saw it when I was about 7 - 8. I remember it being so different from all the other monster movies out there I saw at the time. Very pleased that you found it still holds up today.
 
I'm planning to watch Altered States this evening. I watched it late night on the Sci-Fi channel many moons ago and in spite of it leaving a strong impression I never watched it again.

I was really into Timothy Leary, the X-Files and other fantastical interpretations of science back then, so it will be interesting to see what I think of it now after being more into hard science.
 
Classic Sci Fi movie for today was When Worlds Collide. Very good. I'm loving this classic Sci Fi.
Hammer Horror for today was Dracula, Prince of Darkness. It was a good one. No Peter Cushing though.

Saw this at the cinema: 1980? It's a Ken Russell movie, so I was expecting it. However, one I didn't realise until watching again years later was the art of the windows in the house! Being a young lad at the time, I was clearly too naive to notice how the stained windows represented an intimate female part of the anatomy!!

Pleased to see they're still being enjoyed, blailock! Christopher Lee as Dracula for me, always, I think. (Even the 1972AD one, which is horrendously misjudged!)
 
Second time of trying... watched Jupiter Ascending.

Dear Gods, what a mess!! So much money spent, so awful a movie.
 
Oh god yes wasn't it? I spent most of my time trying to work out why Eddie Redmayne was doing an impression of Baron Silas von Greenback from Danger Mouse
