Last Movie You Watched - 2020

Thanks for the mentions above. Definitely a product of its time, but not terrible at all.

yes it is strongly in the Science Fantasy sector of Science Fiction the blatant product placement of the golf simulator which was a hot new product that year in the Neiman Marcus Xmas catalog) made it a leader carrying on from the example set by the 2001 film

Watched a triple feature of Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein and Young Frankenstein. Got the idea from Hobbit (above). Miz pogo had never seen the first two.
Saw them on DVD, which gave me the pleasure of viewing a - making of - documentary which consisted of Gene Wilder and others telling stories. Also a few clips of edited scenes and actors cracking up.
All interviewees emphasize the ease with which the cast worked together, the multiple takes required because the cast & crew kept cracking up, and the brilliant nutso way that Brooks got the best out of everybody.
Today I expect to watch true horror, election returns.

The First Great Train Robbery - I introduce my son to the joys of the heist movie. He likes.

The 30th anniversary edition, in 1080p. As good-bad as ever.

Even good-er / badd-er when you know the geography - watching Connor McLeod go from Eilean Donan Castle, to The Cuillins on Skye, to Morar Beach, to Glencoe in a day without breaking sweat is pretty impressive.

I live about 10 miles from from where this shot was taken, at sea level at the bottom of the glen, on the right hand side there. ^

Geographical accuracy & historical accuracy (Kingdom of Heaven) are not Ridley Scott's strong suit. He doesn't give a toss.

Really didn't like Shazam!, though I was hoping it would be good. Suffers with "cute kiddie syndrome" too much for me, I think.

the last movie I watched was Alive from Netflix
Had a few people at work watch this in the last week or so. Added to the list. :)

I like a good Hitchcock..... :D Got a nice Bluray set with this in, which shows how well they can scrub up...
