O ,yes.I found the art gallery of U. There are about 14. I like 'The Visionary.' and 'view to arcturan' very much.I will send them to my friends in china.

I think you can do your work better and better. And I wish sometimes ,the fantasy magzine of my country can use your works. :p

Greetings all! :)

I'm the new kid on the block, and I am still trying to find my way around. By night I write fantasy novels, and by day, well, I sleep. ;) Sometimes it is the other way around, but I don't keep track.

Hope to get to know you all better in the coming days.

I started writing fulltime in 1997. So far I have published 16 fantasy novels in three different series.

Targa Trilogy
Origin Scroll
Dark Quest
Ancient Prophecy

Sword of Heavens series
Sapphire of the Fairies
Unicorns' Opal
Abuud: the One-Eyed God
Dwarven Ruby
Emerald of the Elves
Dragons' Onyx
Amethyst of the Gods

Forgotten Legacy series
Young Lord of Khadora
Star of Sakova
Web of Deceit
Aakuta: the Dark Mage
Island of Darkness
Elvangar

There are two more books to the Forgotten Legacy series. Number 7 is currently being edited and should be out soon. Number 8, the final volume, is almost finished and should not be too far behind.

I'm new here. Well, I joined a while ago but just got around to coming back. I am a writer; I've got two trils I'm editing (for the last time! I swear!)...
about to start agent hunting, so I should warn you all you'll probably see me griping and nail-biting around here quite a bit :)

Hello all! I'm relatively new here but I must say I think this forum is great! I'm a huge sci-fi and fantasy nut and look forward to hanging around here quite often!

Realms of Wonder

Hello all. I'm a final year law student from Australia. I hope to use my degree to find a comfortable and safe job to tied me over until I can get my own literary career up and running. I'm working on a few SF short story ideas and still trying to come up with an idea for my first novel. My first reading loves are fantasy, SF and comic books, but I also enjoy reading historical fiction, mystery novels, mainstream, literary classics, and just about anything I can get my hands on.

Science Fiction for me Please!

Hello, I like the layout!
I have a lot of links and I like to post them so others can check out what I found. I always go to the link and copy then paste it in so at least I post active links. I don't frequent any boards. Don't expect me to get into a tissy and go back & forth about it, I'll just leave.
I like to try to spur on creativity in my posts. I start a subject and give examples and wait for replies that further the idea. Sometimes when I have an idea I will reply to it to expand the idea.
I do not like the Sci-Fi channel. It's an issue I have with commercials and promos. I also don't like the way they assume what everyones intelligence level is. They, in my opinion, are ruining the public's image of what Science Fiction is.
It also seems that they have no clue what real Sci-Fi is. Can't get away from it tho. It takes a fair amount of intelligence to comprehend real science fiction.
Science Fiction and Fantasy are the same to me. Environments are different but all Sci-Fi has Fantasy in it and vice-versa. I know the general idea behind the publics separation but I often mix them when posting.
I am not on this planet to offend anyone. If I offend someone in one of my posts, tell me, I WILL apologize. There is no person on this planet I wish to impress, I don't care what humans think of me. If you don't like me, oh well;If you do, oh well.
It makes no matter if you are better than me. There is always one who is better than you. You can take me at face value or not. You are lord of your own delusions.
Lets explore....................................................

Hello

Hello, I'm Esioul, I thought I'd join this site and introduce myself. Um, I'm 18, and I like archaeology, reading and writing. So there you are.

New Member Introduction

Hi, I've been here a couple of weeks and have loved reading peoples' thoughts and recommendations! I'm divorced and live in California with my kids (11,17), I've been reading scifi/fantasy all my life, and after a few years of reading non-genre lit fic, I'm returning to my reading passion.

In my forties, I find it really hard to make friends with similar interests in real life, so I've been seeking an online communtity to connect with diverse people with similar interests. Does anyone know of a place to go online for realtime conversation about fantasy/scifi? I haven't had much luck with finding that.

Right now I'm reading C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy, and I think it's the best series I've read thus far. I'm about to start Calenture, by Storm Constantine (whom I haven't read) for a yahoo group discussion. After reading all the recommendations on this forum for Altered Carbon I bought it and its sequel, only to find out that it's supposed to be incredibly gory, not my thing. Hmmm, got two extra books now. :o I've got a couple hundred (yes) scifi/fantasy books to-be-read, waiting on my shelves, but I'm always looking for more.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
~Albert Einstein

currently reading: When True Night Falls, C.S. Friedman; The Second Summoning, Tanya Huff
recently read: Black Sun Rising, C.S. Friedman; Echo, Francesca Lia Block; American Gods, Neil Gaiman; The Little Country, Charles de Lint

Welcome Brightcow. I ,too, find it hard to discuss the books with others in real life. I'm 41(just turned a few days ago) and I agree that The Coldfire trilogy by Ms. Friedman is utterly fantastic. Wait until you read the third book's conclusion and really get your mind blown.
