Hello to all and sundry! I'm Chade and I've been observing you for awhile in secret. You might say the walls have ears! :D I thought it was high time that I made myself known. Beware the Pocked Man!!!

Welcome, Chade! Always glad to meet another Hobb fan, dear! I turned a friend in Chicago on to her about a month or so ago, and he's busy reading his way through both Liveship and Farseer books at the same time!!

Skinsfan, welcome to you as well...."junior member" is a default title based on the number of your posts. As your post count goes up, you will find your title changing.
Story submission sometimes take a while to get posted....the staff here is often swamped with things to read. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long.

Erin, you can learn about "Chade" in Robin Hobbs books. The Farseer trilogy and the Tawny Man trilogy. As far as David B. Coe goes he is a great Fantasy author. Winds of the Forelands is his newest series. Another good series is the Lon-Tobyn Chronicle.

I did this on the Fantasy forum,but..

By my user name, you might be able to tell that I am majorly influenced by C S Friedman and think that her Coldfire Trilogy is just one the best fantasy series out there.

I'm 40 years old, male, live in Mission Ks, which is a few miles outside of Kansas City.

Favorite authors in no particular order: C J Cherryh, C S Friedman,Steven Brust, Benard Cromwell, Katherine Kerr, Robin Hobbs, Marion Zimmer Bradley and on and on...

Hope to have some fun on this site and would love discussing books, movies or tv with you all.

Hi. My actual name is George. I am 22 and I live in New York. My hobbies include reading, eating kataifi (a greek pastry), working out (because of the kataifi), and playing football (soccer to americans; Podosfero in my house). My favorite football club is PAOK.

Thats all for now. I'll try not to be so dull on future posts, but finals are killing me. :(

Brand new member says Hi

I just found this forum this morning and sm so delighted to find other people who READ!! So few people do, and the ones I know who do read seldom read sicence fiction.

I have been reading sf/comics/etc since I was twelve and I am looking forward to meeting you guys. I'd add a smile but I don't know how--I've only had this computer for one month!
